60FPS then 30FPS (Red Dead Redemption 2)
Hi all!!!!!A problem in RDR2 - as you move to locations that clearly 60FPS, and at some points counter shows 60FPS, and the picture-well obviously 30FPS.
Graphics settings exhibited optimal: my system - I7 8700K, 16GB DDR4, RTX 2070 SUPER.
The system is more than sufficient for this game, but the game is moments like lag.
If encountered or paid attention to this disease of the game, post pliz what can be the matter.
Stupid no optimization or is there any other solution.

Riva tuner along with msi installs. In line Framrate limit put your desired number of fps and everything.

most likely broke up or something is not right, or the power supply is not clean or viruses, at least some graphics settings enabled demanding. I have the same configuration almost not one of the frieze are not caught for 40 hours

Chet was rewatching your benchmark video today, why isn't the screen resolution even Full HD? The resolution is set to 1680*1050
After the last patch, many FPS drops unexpectedly in a random place. Moreover, it visually sags not up to 30 fps, but much lower. Programs, for example, I use FPS Monitor do not see this.

I put not FULL SCREEN, but WINDOW WITHOUT FRAME, the picture is normal, but the lags are gone.

There, some settings drastically lower the frame rate. One of them is some kind of water physics setting - it needs to be set to two or three divisions instead of the maximum. I dug into the settings for a long time, so I only remembered water - it hit performance the most, and the difference was negligible.
For non-optimized features, it doesn't matter what kind of hardware you have, so sometimes you have to tinker a bit.

I'm on my RTX 2060Super (the same Rtx 2070 and 3060+ - only 5-6fps difference, and in full hd there is no difference between 3060 at all) + Ryzen 2600 I play in almost ultras (all on ultra almost bailed out) at 60+FPS is stable and this is without dlss enabled (it’s worth turning on even more FPS)
In 2k resolution with Dlss on ultra graphics with additional opening settings I get 55-60fps stably and this is when driving, but when driving the character itself, the FPS is already stable 60, and you say that the RTX 2070 and 2070 are not super suitable, this is laughter and complete nonsense!
My card on ultras even cyberpunk with dlss pulls in 60fps.
You'd better figure it out first than mislead people....
Even the portable console Steam Deck pulls in 720p at an average of 40+FPS, which is enough for the game (FPS is higher even than PS4 and PS5 with their locked 30fps)
