For the wedding all simple, this joint localization. Lost in translation so to speak. A common thing in RPGs. The game was translated from Japanese into English and Russian localization was done already with the English version. It's not just a problem in distorting the translation, but in the difference of Eastern and Western cultures. That is already in English version, many phrases have lost the original meaning. Actually no it's not a wedding, not a literal translation but the closest in value would be the word rite, a ritual of merging two dark shower needed to bolster the strength, so the hero became king of the hollow.
