i7 4790k relevant in 2018?

The thing is, what I have is a i5 4460 on the motherboard msi z87-g55 and I want to preupgrades on the i7. Question - is it worth it to pay extra for a new motherboard and RAM memory consumption (all of this will cost 40-45 million) for the transition to the eighth generation, or you can save your money and buy i7 4790k. And immediately another question arises - how this stone is relevant in 2018? Please help with this.

Changing to the i7-4790k is a good percent,I have i7-2700k is quite enough to disperse.

fx 8320 and an i7 2600k is still very relevant.

by the end of this console cycle will be more relevant than some games where there will be 120 and 60 fps and so maybe 3-5 years more portratit 30фпс
