Impressions of the game (Daymare: 1998)

Passed the first Chapter.
What can I say, visual style, animation, shooting and gameplay in General is pretty mediocre. Not bad, but it was mediocre to play. Except that, running from barefoot and in the end of the Chapter seemed a little comical. The puzzle is not bothered. The graphics are great for such a budget, over the tippet also tried, the notes are really fun to read. And that's what I tried too - so it's voice. Actors noticeably overplayed, and the text itself does not help, it was written badly. It is just painful to listen to, as soon as someone opens his mouth, immediately all the immersion and atmosphere evaporates. Just do NOT BELIEVE!, don't talk military, however, the woodcutter is also a concern.

Expect the worst, but quite playable.
There is not just clumsy, but generally 2 pages incorrect are copied from other pages in the end there is an error with the ID card of the agent - set is not the code for of. site. As for me - the game has a couple of minuses.
First, given that the developers were inspired by RE2, I was entitled to expect a slightly different level design: not a gut that is sporadically splitting (then at the end of one corridor is a key/map, at the end of another is the door he/she opens), but something like a mansion/police station, something that needs to be explored. Next could be the same gut, after which - another large location. But it didn't work out...
Secondly, the almost complete absence of riddles/puzzles/puzzles with key objects was disappointing. Playing in the 90s often heard from players something like: "damn, stuck: there are 3-4 objects, all bypassed - where to use them?". In daymare, you can only get stuck on a particular puzzle. Not by resident somehow...
And third. The original RE2 interested me immediately, the first video from which I learned that 2a ordinary person, absolutely not suspecting anything, got into the city of zombies. This turn caused both fear, loneliness of the characters, and a desperate struggle for survival - it was cool! But when Gg initially flies on the task, knowing that in some biolaboratory there was a leak, and he -prepared for such situations special agent (and therefore, he is clearly morally ready for what he sees) - it somehow kills the desired game atmosphere (although, in part, it is compensated by a forester), imho, of course.
In general, I personally, the game came: no graphics (given the budget of it norms), no excessive realism of reloading, no oblique hitboxes - nothing, about which many wrote me, personally, did not particularly confuse (although, of course, if it was all implemented better - it would only benefit the game): 7.5 out of 10 points it deserved.
