The mechanics of the game (Elex)
Some aspects of the mechanics of the game (taken from reddit, translated by me)1. Armor directly reduces damage. 1 armor is a minus 1 on damage. More than 50% reduction to damage taken to be (requires additional testing)
2. Sunglasses give a hidden bonus +10 armor, making them imboy in the early stages of the game. The bonus is not listed on the menu, but nevertheless it is
3. Quality absolutely NO effect on performance. ie the power does not affect the melee damage, dexterity on far, body type does not affect the amount of health, and intellect on the amount of mana or spell power
4. High quality - 100. Improving the quality in unity is worth 1 point performance to 31 inclusive, 2 to 61, 5 to 91 and 10 to hundreds
5. Shields block more damage than blocking with a weapon
6. On the strength of the parry on the armor depends on whether pers to fully block incoming damage (perhaps also depends on the power a weapon attack)
7. Attack power on the subject gives a chance (?) to knock out more of stamina from the opponent in the block
8. With all this power parry and attack power on items has no noticeable effect. The same can be attributed to the relevant skills
Skills
1. Armor increases armor by +5 for every skill level, even if Persian naked
2. Good health provides a one-time bonus of +10 to health. Does not increase with level. Starting health, by the way, is 50, and increases by 5 with every level
3. Features gives you one point of characteristics with each new level. Not retroactive, i.e., it is desirable to take early
4. Endurance gives 20 points of stamina for every skill level. The starting stamina is 100
5. Slam increases the attack damage Q 20-30%
6. Drug dealer gives a 5% discount from vendors at every skill level. The price is rounded down (dvuhmestnye items will cost one). Coin items such as fuel, will disappear from the market (Update: fixed with the current patch)
7. Jet attack gives jet-pack attack with a damage bonus of 30%. Cannot be used in combos
8. Melee increases damage in melee by 10% per skill level. Accordingly, as firearms. Heavy weapons increases damage by 5% per skill level. The bonus is indicated in the card weapons
9. The storm of the machines adds 20% bonus damage against robots. Supposedly the Killer mutants has the same bonus, but I don't test
10. An experienced hunter gives a 5% experience bonus for killing animals (not humanoids). Practices gives the same bonus for completing quests. Bookworm was to give a bonus for reading notes and books, but he zabagovan, because for reading we don't get (Update: fixed with the current patch)
11. Like food makes it triple more effective (i.e., instead of restoring 20 health get 60 for the same period). Does not work on other buffs, only the regeneration
12. The sixth sense" shows enemies as red dots on the radar in the range, depending on range settings of the rendering. Low or average range rendering have less range than high or ultra. In practice, this makes it very good to avoid the enemies (or Vice versa to look for)
13. Combat training, Talent to survive, Master, Working with people give +10 in my column for the checks in dialogues
14. Balance adds +20% damage to melee
15. Mana and Battery give +10 energy for every skill level

well, should large puhi peel somehow more powerful, why do they then do in game to enter, call heavy guns
Oh...can't you get out of the stereotype :) if the gun will fire nuclear charge from him will do more damage than a Bazooka vystrelivshey bullet like in the movie men in black like. And their weight is specified? Maybe they are made of alloy which is very heavy :))) if this was Earth - I would agree that it SHOULD be. Lawyer Eleks, very nice.
xaldei1991
So do the piranhas said that the Earth was only Megalan. In their interview.
Stanislavich
You do not correctly understand them, probably due to sloppy translation. They meant the explanation that mavalane a car, etc.

Anyways I'm talking about the balance of weapons, each should be useful in a certain application. What the shell does not insert in the rocket launcher, no good, tried more than once )). My position is a defect of developers, each weapon should be something useful heavy stable about anything. And some huge mutants all explosive damage does not take. So I understand the perfect use of heavy weapons on the planet of Megalan - scattered in the corners of the crowd of megaris. My conclusion is: heavy weapon in the game for the number/diversity/beauty, I have not found it positive in addition to repulsive/knocks down properties, but not to use a backpack, not to tumble, not jump/run... And then wins immediately elementary the explosive bolts or witrynie shells plasma rifle. About the cost of ammunition for heavy fluff wolbe silent, and to create consumption heap of resources, 6 iron ore at one shell for the Tick this is too much.
Enough arguments not in favor of heavy ? If you have positive moments with pleasure will listen and I will be very grateful for useful info) And so while I can say boys and devchenki with the earth stereotypes ))) do not swing heavy, disappointed )
Well, I initially played for malesnica how I immediately assumed that with firearms there will be problems of developers and not a mistake.

This is a new element to piranhas, so I didn't like it apparently, I would have done much more ammo for all firearms. This is again talking about what you would like in the game, but the game did a total of 26 people and the emphasis was not on shooting(which I do not like and the choice is always milesnick), it's primarily an RPG, not a shooter . In ELEX 2 will do much better. When I think of comparisons with the Witcher which has a budget of 85 million looking at it - reply :D
xaldei1991Вобще Yes to 26 people is really cool, such a study to be done. Waiting for part 2. The Witcher is probably at least 100 people did. Just play smart, just when zakachivaetsja to 25 LVL me now you start to nitpick, odd me, this topic is hard to hit, well done to the damage of 200... ATO 100 onions and 100 heavy, and barely fucking waddles with heavy neither to run away nor to take off... the Only thing that has pleased a flamethrower, causing the damage of concrete subject to burning even rest heavy niochem )

The Witcher did 450 people with a budget of 85 million, I dread to imagine what the bomb would do piranhas with such facilities.

About what I'm talking about constantly. Remember hastily released Gothic 3, even now it gives me a light Witch, and that would let her finish? Wouldn't it be wretched Skurka with its textures and gameplay of the past, as it would be a shame to release them. Actually I'm waiting for unreal - this is when the whole team gathers together Gothic and say that will continue and will come to kickstarter. Million 2$ I think is guaranteed, and there is support for investors and publishers. Yes, we don't get the technical level of the Witcher, but full and interesting world get by far and all this to the music of Kai...

I tested before the patch, everything gave like. I came up with this:
Example:
1) didn'T take the perk and level (from 6 to 7) and only then took it. Received 87 lives of all.
2) TOOK advantage and got a level (6 to 7). Life was 91.
It turns out that about 5% increase to MAC. level of health when you receive the level.
Even now, with 27 level I have about 277ХП that given 50ХП + 5*27 = 185, which is almost even 100hp less than I have now.

A naive person. Not all about the budget. There are many examples of small teams with much less budget did a very good game and when the large companies with unrealistic budget released unplayable dross. Current piranhas, basically do not understand how to make games. And no amount of millions would not be able to fix poor Ilex.

Here is the second video I met by chance tamica or whatever it is and it's great even though it khaterat, is about Gothic 3:
Svetoslav
Svetoslav S. by looking at the video just above you'll see how important a budget is. For some sort of indie do so, but there is no example among RPG with open world, and enough examples to the contrary and Gothic 3 is perhaps the most vivid example of how for open world RPG important a budget is. It remains to add:
Spoilering Boyarsky:
I was most distressed by the fact that for 75% -80% of the time of those three or four years that we worked on Vampire, the game has not yet formed, it was impossible
play. As soon as the game started to develop, as soon as we became fun to work on it as soon as we saw firsthand, what we've got
and saw the light at the end of the tunnel — we had to wrap it up and release the game as soon as possible. It was very depressing.
In defense of Activision, I can say that by the time they have spent on us a lot of money. We failed this time. Whether it was our fault, no matter; we've gone beyond the budget. So they probably made no sense to continue. If they could get us the game would sell, they could only put it in a box and see how much they can charge for it.

What you have written or does not apply to what I wrote. You do not understand the meaning of my message.

About the current the question was not if you carefully read my comment. From the old team left only Bjorn. I'm talking about a team that made Gothic 1-3. They know what they're doing and can repeat the success.
Meaning simply that I don't need Gothic. But to see the game with the basics of the mechanic of it I really want :(
So far only Legends Grimroka gave me such oshushenie and partial mechanic used in Dark Souls. All the more games I've seen for SEVENTEEN years!
Negih
So I wrote to you. I'm not your message I quoted :)
Negih wrote:

I agree with that.

you will see how important a budget
I don't need to see any kind of dubious video. I'm not saying that the budget is not important. Is undoubtedly important. I talked about the fact that money is not everything you need to create a really good game. There have Yubikov money the car, but something I have not seen them any worthwhile games.
Yes, and don't have anywhere to quote that knights. This clipping from interview do not-a-what.
PS. I'm not a coach. If you want patronymic, the I.. And to the user under the name Stanislavich, I have nothing to do. Something we agree on this point opinions, but something I with it categorically do not agree.

Damn really :(
Inattentive was.
In varying degrees, the budget is important, BUT! If you know what you are doing, then you can do a modest budget. The same vestland 2 without kollosalnyh amounts came out very good. I'm not talking about nedostigaemymi Divinity 2...
PS. Who are all those people who put the cons I do not understand :D
