Impressions of the game (Sword Coast Legends)

In fact here is the game and left. I would like to see the reviews of real players, not the commercials that we are constantly being fed.
He himself is very upset by the game. Of course I knew that it turn out to be no APB, but that was the assumption, and now faced with a bitter reality. Spells now did not have any spell they have skill and rollback as in an ordinary action/rpg, they now do not occupy slots in the spell book (which, by the way, also). Diversity of some skills/spells are merely a more powerful variation of its predecessor, which is extremely bad. The interface is very unpleasant in appearance, but it can be used. Management is not very pleasant, but it can also be used. Graphics... it is not, but that's not the point in D&D games, right? Russian localization has always distinguished itself as a hard to read font and a free translation. While that specific challenge in the battle met, but this is who-like, depending on ability. Character in every action something to go on and on to himself, is bored after 5 - 10 minutes of the game, and there is only the possibility to remove the sound of the voice, not the frequency of the pronunciation of this mooing (mooing remembered the dwarves of Daggerdale, which is also in the D&D system). I do not know how to praise this game, like it was waiting for, and now one disorder with her.
P. S. Oh... D&D is dead, and this masterpiece another nail in the coffin.

The game is slightly below average, but did much carelessly + the game for some reason the system was straining almost like the Witcher 3, although it looks much more modest and that can consume so much resource, I don't know.
4/10, with difficulty going for people who missed NVP and NVN 2 after a year of its release, were no longer playing an RPG.

Passed the main campaign and Rage of Demons

The overall impression of the game is good (I would rate at 7.5 out of 10)

Pros:

- Many options for character customization. From the shape of the face/ears/eye colors to the choice of the origin (which affects the build significantly stronger than NWN2)

- Classes are much more balanced than in NWN1/2, Dragon Age or Pillars of Eternity. In all these games, mages are much stronger than all the others. Why play a fighter in Dragon Age if there's Arcane warrior. Klery and sorcerers/wizards in NWN1 and especially NWN2 fight in melee much better than the warriors.

- RPG system (with some exceptions) allows you to play the right type from the start. For example a thief or a Ranger may, without prejudice to development to upgrade stealth to the max already on the second level. In NWN-Ah Stelzer becomes salsera at least level 8 (if you take a level of shadow dancer). In DA at least some variety in character development you receive the level 7 when they become available specialization. Normal fighter 2 weapons in NWN2 for example or caster or character with at least 10 levels of thief and with the level of tenevogo dancer or 8 levels of assassin. In Sword Coast Legends even have polymorph: http://swordcoastlegends.wiki.fextralife.com/Avenging+Angel

- The game mechanics are simpler and balanced than in other DnD - shnyh and similar games (like Pillars of Eternity). For example, a roll attacks and use sposobnostei in SCL uses Proficiency Bonus depends on the level of personage (compare THAC0, BAB, initial accuracy, depending on the class in Pillars of Eternity). Of the 6 attributes are involved and each class for a normal game usually need 2, it can pump up to high (remember the wild MAD and need high power for most classes Pillars of Eternity)

- A variety of active abilities nekaterih classes

- Avoiding the use of abilities/spells per day in favor of cooldowns (this encourages the player to use them more and not save and makes the game more interesting)

- The plot is not about saving the world as 90% of all games
Spoiler(Well in the Rage of Demons we are saving the city:))and fit well into the story of the game world Forgotten Realms

Spoilerville: GG performs tasks of Bregan D'ERT, Dalnir receives a letter from Banago Banra (captain Kurt, ruler of Luskan), Hammet is a member of a magical family of Garpenlov - the rulers of the Long Benches, HE helps Drizzt To'Ordino to stop the invasion of demonic forces in the Underdark.

Cons (from most serious to less):

- The inability to persist in different slots. If there is a bug with the passage, will have to replay again (you can insure if you frequently backup the folder with the save)

- Stumbled upon a bug in the camp of the adventurers did not appear some companions (Gavin, Brin and ISkin). So I was not able to fulfill their quests

- Your inventory (especially cities like Luskan or Mantol Derith)

- Few classes (6 + 1 in the Supplement). It's still better than Dragon Age, where the classes do not cover basic types of the characters, but not enough to DnDшных games. Also few options sposobnostey - say Rangers have only 1 companion - a wolf. The game obviously was in a hurry to finish or were (and are) problems with the budget

No multiclassing. Instead, there is the ability to mix class archetypes (like the assassin and the harness of the trickster). In principle not a big problem

- No crafting

- The inventory is less convenient than the more NWN2 and NWN1 (but still better than in PoE).

- Short campaign Rage of Demons

In General, I recommend to play, especially the lovers of DnD :)

Here it would seem this game has everything we loved in the immortal (and recently revived) the classics needs no introduction - role system, quests, secrets in the levels, satellites, etc.
But the role system is only a shadow of its former, and the battles are boring.
The picture is nothing special shines and wins except against the background of the first Neverwinter, but not distasteful. There's a good levels, good city. Perfectly drawn map of the world, very informative, each cave will be shown.
There is an encyclopedia, bestiary, but for some reason, to write not all, but demons (which is our main enemies) don't write at all. O_o
In the cutscenes no subtitles, and therefore translation.
The main story strange. On the one hand the history of the Guild is good, but on the other... damn, yet another addition to the Balor as the main villain nothing is impossible to come up with? Yes, and it served as almost saving the world, while in every other game we soaked the enemies are much cooler.
But what's really great is quests and companions. Diverse, with a great sense of humor and non-trivial. And and quests and companions. :) There is even a fanatical paladin in shining armor with a portrait of the succubus under the bed (there is a marching version). :))
DLS is about Drizzt, but no translation. Aphids.

In General, there are only a great job, a good world, humor and characters. More nothing special there, but in such games, quests and characters have to be good or very very inappropriate.
6,5/10
