Avermedia Live Gamer Portable. In your opinion.
In fact, share your experiences and views on the video capture card. Want to buy this as a gift to a friend, so is it worth it. Sort of appeared recently on the market, and judging by the reviews, quite a good device. Maybe someone uses it?Raykor
As to say Fraps, there is 1 caveat:
For Fraps have to have multiple hard drives. If you God forbid try to remove the clip from the game and record it on the same drive on which stands the game is no power percent you from lag will not save.
As for the stream:

Just recently started a discussion on this topic on the ACC. forum.
For those too lazy to read (although there is one very worthwhile informative post) in a nutshell:
The stream is usually crimped X. 264 codec which has presets of the compression ratio (in other words, the load percent).
From the increase of the compression ratio, the level of quality at a fixed bit rate increases very slightly, but the load on percent very quickly go beyond reasonable.
So the conclusion is simple - if you want a beautiful stream, you will have to increase the bitrate.
well, if the manufacturer has specified the maximum resolution, then it should fail, there is already the main place to stock up. In General, how many in the Internet don't read, complaints special for AverMedia not find

Well max it at 1080p and 30fps, which is quite normal. Although avid gamers will say that is not enough, but for me this is enough.
These are just some quibbles for 30 frames, in the rest of many and this is not necessary, and it is terrible to imagine how this video will weigh...

Somewhere in the middle of the page there is a picture of the settings window. There is 60Mbit bitrate.
Given that this thing writes to the SD card, the record weighs a penny.
(60/8)*60 = about 450МБ turns per minute.
For comparison, my Fraps says with a bitrate of ~3.8 Gbit. Recently that it recorded 4 minutes, missed the 60GB.
60 gigs in 4 minutes, it's too hard, what is there for the recording quality that I imagine is scary to be honest! By the way, which card are you writing?
I do not know how easier but on steeper will not be exact, considering some of its limitations.
In fact this lotion for consoles.
Posuti case Yes, but if you suddenly postrimit why they want it and to your PC or laptop, you can connect it. Yes, and consoles will only shoot in 720p.
and you can see, there are some limitations in this map? and then ka who is not very clear. I thought that the capture device is almost perfect.
Restrictions? The question here is purely personal, because for someone they are, but for some sinks, and more AverMedia))

The General restriction on quality is 1080p 30fps output. This is the maximum that can be obtained.
By the way announced new AVerMedia Game Capture HD II can be obtained by video recording in 1080 60 fps output!
In principle I agree, but there are also. And AVerMedia Game Capture HD Tisec new enough and it is pretty interesting innovations

I'm not going to give you a list of permissions which is nice to play, with ascending Full HD, it's just too long. But it is not even about that.
If it is a device used for the consoles, then Yes it's not bad (though for stream need a PC as the way to handle\fill a recorded video). And if you play at the PC, then this thing is 1) can easily be replaced by a conventional program 2) sour limits an output image 3) has a rather mediocre recording quality.
This is a very narrowly-specific device, it is difficult to think of a situation when its use will be justified and optimal.
