The choice of SSD for laptop

Select the SSD for your laptop. There are some questions that can prompt or help you to choose the drive. Whether it is necessary to consider the compatibility of the disk and the laptop or any other features, or just a drive to put ? Maybe there are specific models for laptops?
Budget about 11, 000. Interested in the drive to 512 GB.

the number buns and speed, if you believe that off site is written, a USB flash drive to compare it makes no sense at all, because it is steeper than many SSDs, the only thing where price took? I'm selling haven't seen him yet.

What I do not understand, and which additional buns have the Plextor EX1, unlike other SSD ? You mean the Plextor utilities? PlexNitro, PlexCompressor, PlexTurbo and PlexVault?

Yes it is about these utilities, they allow you to unleash the full potential of this SSD from Plextor. Even though I think it would be something new, because it is an external SSD

what is an external ssd? he what are the advantages of sata that before he could something else besides the basic set of tools for the ssd to be? for me and so supported By impressive.

it has advantages over other removable media, whether flash drive or external hard drive and to upload information as fast as on the ssd which is inside a laptop or comp

Are you sure that it will be supported on the plextor EX1, from infa about it all come from? Given that taking it will not under Windows, in support of the same PlexTurbo doesn't make sense.

R

Of course it will support at plextor EX1 and not the fact that it will not take under Windows, you can use it as a portable mini PC. Although I think that in most cases, this series will be sort of large and high-speed USB flash drive

Hmm,and via which port superflake will connect to the PC? Will it affect somehow on the speed performance?

A

Naturally through USB 3.1, which has a bandwidth much higher than the speed characteristics of the drive, so that speeds read/write format of the connection will not be affected.

what do you mean, what is mini PC? this ssd soon for that would be great designs you can quickly record or for web designers, especially if complex publishing, there are a couple of gigs just material different, and the small files... Yes he via usb 2.0 will work faster than a regular USB flash drive.

R
Raykor 02.06.20

About USB 2.0 not sure I can tell you, because the speed is likely to be limited by bandwidth to that port, and use the plextor EX1 via usb 2.0 this is some kind of perversion

Here is a good Russian review http://compress.ru/post/20161128-usb-plextor-ex1-128gb-ssd
By the way, it has been emphasized that the use of the EX1 via USB 3.1 Gen 2. I would place obzorschika is connected to the EX1 via USB 3.0 and 2.0 , that would show readers clearly the difference.

USB 3.0 bandwidth is high, but if you stick it in the USB 2.0 speed restrictions will be. But nowadays any laptop/PC interfaces of the new generation.

Well, to connect an external SSD media, you need at least USB 3.0. Then everything will be fine, and the speed will suit you and will not be blunt.
Today I read the specifications on the Plextor Launches EX1, the above discussed frankly stunned, at first I thought it was just a flash drive, and it appears that SSD.

The idea is certainly cool, but I think SSD purely under the axle and soft, and portable to put it all stupid)_ In General, not my subject)

In fact this is the best its application... Plus much more... Productivity increases, the quality of work is growing, some advantages. But for removable media may be suitable or stick to 32 or even normal HDD.

Conventional removable hdd heavy and slow, regular slow and unreliable flash drive, to copy files to 20 MB convenient of course, but if you need a quick record of 200 gigs?!

yeah, afiget it's heavy:) and with regards to bandwidth USB 2.0 wiki written that it is from 25 to 450 MB\for mass storage devices that I do not remember at least one flash drive at a speed at least 300 MB.with therefore asked.

che, becomes if to a different port the port to connect?

R
Raykor 02.06.20

Yes, only 2. what can happen is this an external ssd won't work or will work but at much lower speeds, and this is not good, you know

Actually, it is written not about MB/s and Mbit/s
