The expression expensive this is not about these cards. Personally, my opinion - take 1060 6 gigs. The price difference is huge, up to 60%. The difference in performance - up to 30%.
However, if finances allow why not to buy a 1070...

For SLI you need two or three identical cards. By the way, if put in SLI a second GTX 770 4 Gb, the performance they get close to 1070. At least exactly around 1060. For two years it is not sickly. And there is 1080 and cheaper.

And why not listen to him? PALIT for GTX 1070 released best the cooling system (both in terms of noise and efficiency). MSI and Gigabyte are definitely the market leaders. He sit on the gig happy as an elephant quiet cool really. no stocks of firewood was not even when many complained about any driver.

ha ha ha since when? and than ASUS is worse than the ASUS, Giga or msii, answer pliz? to over come firing 1070 turned out just great.
And what about Bugatti that long ago when I bought the Palit GTX 780 was more expensive than the ASUS and in 3 years nothing happened, it was great.
