The developers of The Chinese Room can create a memorable, sensory projects. Remember the melancholic landscapes, lyricism flow and beauty of the caves in Dear Esther. Remember the personal tragedy and horror of Oswald Mundus from Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. The Chinese Room never did play, but creates "interactive art". Their new project, the former PS4-exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, this year decided to honor with his presence the PC. What this time gave us "Chinese room"?

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is the most ambitious project Studio, which includes open world on CryEngine 3. It tells the story of strange events and mysterious disappearances in a small English town. The project is somewhat reminiscent of another contemplative research game – The Vanishing of Ethan Carter: the minimum interaction with the environment (you can listen to the recording with phones and receivers, but to manipulate certain anomalies), the focus on contemplation and walking around. If you don't like such beshanaya projects, you can immediately pass. And if you love them like I do, perhaps you will get some disappointment. The fact that Everybody's Gone to the Rapture not have the level of emotional and aesthetic engagement that took place in past Studio projects. What's the problem? Perhaps too domestic minor stories that accompany the main sci-Fi line, and maybe too slow to move (even when running) that has a negative impact on the study of the open world. Does not contribute to immersion, and not the best optimization of the game.

However, the storyline associated with the emergence of shining, moving "anomalies" - the ability to reach out to fans of science fiction and eventually make the meditative, philosophical mood. Contributes to this and a divine soundtrack. But anyway, sorry, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a controversial project, inferior to the previous creations of "the Chinese room".

Impressions? Started about an unknown form of life, and finished the stinking snot about a chick who gets fucked and save us all love. 0/100, five hours wasted.

The end of the world has already happened and humanity has disappeared (literally) from the face of the earth. We have to walk around a small English town with the help of a strange ball of light to learn about the last days of the locals and how, in fact, the disaster happened.
Typical walker. Slow, despite her age, beautiful, in some places very even (but put Reshade on), to beautiful music, in some places very beautiful. The plot at first seems not very good, some characters are straight enrage, but then it gets steeper and steeper. It turns out that this is a very good SF on I won’t say which, but an interesting topic. There is an official Russian voice acting, not bad.
