There is no flag in the inventory (Dark Souls 3)

During the passage of the game there was a problem .after the second boss (a ward from the cold valley) you need to go to the precipice and raise the flag, but coming up comes a notice that the flag is not in the inventory. I've already re-crossed the game up to this point, and the location ran -nothing. What to do? P.s. dark souls 3 on ps 4
