Slowing down time (No Man's Sky)
Guys, I already realized that the game is still disgusting optimization, but reading the problems of people I noticed that there was no one like me, so tell me!In general, the game works for me without jerking, but after a few minutes of playing it literally slows down. That is, it seems to be slowed down. At the same time, FPS remains the same as it was 30 (maximum), but the player starts to run slower, and walks almost like a turtle. The game just slows down. Why, again, optimization, or you need to screw something up.
My computer is not top, but not quite a bucket either.
Core i5, 8 Gb RAM, GTX650Ti.1Gb.
If such a work of norms, then is not it so with me alone? And why does this not start right away? And it doesn't matter if I walk on one planet, on several, or just fly in space. 15 to 30 minutes of play and starts to slow down gradually. And then it slows down so much that it seems that it will stop now. In this case, the frame rate is not violated, there is no jerking.
I have the same thing. Can I put everything on the minimum wage?

All at minimum salaries . Some write that with the same hardware, it works fine on average. But if it was a weak gland, I think it would have slowed down immediately, and not after half an hour.

I have everything turned off that you can turn off and everything at low. When I started the game it was at medium-high settings, but after about 10 minutes THIS started. I lowered it, it helped but not much. Only the range has increased. I tried to fix it by changing the parameter in the game package.

Perhaps your CPU is heavily loaded, I have one program eating everything, so I turned it off and the NMS began to play more normally
the problem is in OpenGL.
a bad API that doesn't work well on Windows. Firewood development does not optimize it very much, tk. it is rarely used in games.
this slowdown is due to an I / O buffer cache overflow. And given NVIDIA's policy of supporting old GPUs, they have long put a big and thick one on the 400, 500, 600 and even 700 series, so don't expect any fixes in terms of OpenGL optimization.

I, in principle, guessed that it was something like a cache, but I did not understand in which cache the place could be clogged. There is no way to solve the problem so that the game does not restart every time?

I play at 900p with medium textures and anisotropic filtering at 2.fps from 25-60 jumps. On average 34-37. Reduce the resolution and install an experimental patch, and then, as the fps progresses, increase the resolution from 1280. You will find the optimal setting in 2-3 passes. I advise you to test in the game for at least 2 minutes

in the settings file? or in the game?
from the general suggestions to reset the graphics settings in the video card settings

I originally played in 1366. The effect is always in all games and it is great

Everything means everything, everything in general, everything that can be disabled by all means has been disabled for a minimum. Apparently, I'll try to install the driver ...

So it also works stably on FPS, surprisingly. Even when there is a slowdown, fraps gives 30. I'm shocked.

I have one sidekick playing the same bucket as yours, he said that he helps the coach to turn on the super speed option
