PC assembly

Good evening everyone.

Tell me which PSU to take for the RTX 3090. I surfed on the Internet and some mixed reviews. Someone says 850W is enough, and someone says that it is better to take 1000W. Tell me please.
Also, the question about the GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO motherboard will be enough, will it stand?)

it is strange that a dude who took a card for 150k and bothers about which power supply unit to take, with such buggers buys for full and does not bother

me with one explanation, if he stole this card somewhere and now collects a system around it))

3090 is available with an additional 8pin + 8pin power supply. A has 8pin + 8pin + 8pin. In the second case, a kilowatt is better

. Kilowatts have two cables of 8pin + 8pin.
Now I looked at the regard, there is a 750W PSU even with 4 connectors for cords for video cards. Perhaps for each additional connection a separate 6 + 2pin. But I would still take 1000W

principle, as it was in 12-13, it remains, there are still individuals.
This is not the topic, where does the cost of the card come in? And what does it have to do with what grandmothers I buy clown

Take SurenosS
Seasonic gold for 750-850 watts and do not worry, such a block will be enough even for 2 3090 with a margin. and the warranty for these blocks is 10 years! Sisonik himself has gold focus + 850 watts for the 3rd year and does not blow his mustache. Now, with a 3080 card, it works without tension at all with a consumption of 350 watts, and before that with Vega 64 at 260 watts.

PS Do not take what is advised above. This is a bullshit and not a block with Chinese giblets and beautiful numbers for dust in the eyes "1000 watts", and in real life even 700 watts will give out at best, and it is not known with what reliability, and there are big problems with noise.

take any power supply unit from 800w (850w, 1000w) with "80+ gold" certification or higher (platinum, titanium) and a 5-year warranty. also look at the wires (connectors and their number), so that you have enough for everything. if you find a power supply unit under such criteria, and even with a 10-year guarantee, then generally take it with your eyes closed. the same corsair in the specified range has models with a 10-year warranty, for example, the 850-watt RMx series. in retail such as a technopoint, it should be now.

For platinum and titanium there is no point in overpaying double the cost. Sysonic gold for 850+ is enough for everything above the roof. They are guaranteed for 10 years. There is no more reliable and better power supply. They have their own circuitry and are completely Japanese.

what for vyser about 12 years old?
well, if you are one of those geniuses who are bought on credit for 200k, then ok,
but if you have norms with earnings, then it is always better to buy a bit with a gap or at least google consumption and the recommended power supply, just the first couple of links tell you which power supply you need to use

but for it's very difficult for you yeah
and yes the forum is a place for discussion, in which I checked out

For such a vidyuhi, you need to take the highest quality and powerful PSU, there is no point in saving. It will cost at least twenty.

M
MunchkiN 616 08.01.21

I think that relatively normal 750W will be enough
because its peak consumption is unlikely to exceed 500W.
but as mentioned above, after a certain psychological amount, savings of 5-10k are no longer necessary.

You rile some kind of clown
I xs what you need to be to take a loan for a PC of course.
Are you burning from something I bought or what? From you zero sense another, do not come pliz, for you / thread. You can sprinkle saliva in other sections.
And about the information, I said that I shoveled the Internet a little, let's say this "power" I never collected a PC, so I decided to ask. But there is no thread without a madman who decides to spray because of his "gnostic".
