DX9 VS DX10 (Devil May Cry 4)
Actually, who can post screenshots. Is there a difference at all?
I'm just too lazy to put Vista and compare.
But there is one line there: FurQuality = NONE I can not understand what it activates (and how to activate it) The
technology of voluminous fur which is used in dx10, but in my opinion it is not used in DMC4.
2PrinceIvan I don't know where the fur is (or something like that), but if there is an option, then it can somehow be used ...
And personally, my game just flies on dx10, but on the 9th everything is like in slow motion (judging by the demo)

You can never judge by the demo !!! There is still not a single demo version of the game so that it does not have problems with code optimization - hence the glitches, in this case when comparing DX9 & DX10 (MY OPINION :)
Hmm ... people! The difference between 9 and 10 is just the lighting, and in some games the haze is ... that's all ...
I finally have some kind of garbage, on DX10 the rollers go like clockwork, on DX9 they slow down.
BUT it is impossible to play the game on DX10, some cells are running around the screen or finally
nifiga does not show. Like a gray screen, sounds are heard, and nifig is not visible. so Gamayu on DX9. Maybe he will say what for ???
There is also a difference in water and sky, but this is only for those games that specifically change it, and in LVR I did not notice this ...
Yes !!!! There is a difference, but it is not significant !!!! But with DIRECT X 10.0. much more pleasant to play !!!! IMHO !!!!
I agree, the performance is significantly improved by dx10, but it is difficult to notice obvious visual differences.
There is also a big difference! On Dx10, realistic reflections from asphalt and so on .. Plus add improved shadows and lights from sources ...
Here are the screenshots for comparison, I can tell you right away I expected obvious differences:
DirectX9
DirectX10 <---------- In general, there is no difference. Not used 10 ...
The conclusions I made for myself are as follows:
DirectX10 only slightly improves the glare on metal parts, (if at all), and there is a possibility that the 10th version of DirectX is not fully used. It can be said that it is not used at all.
Thanks for the screenshots). I didn't see any difference at all.
Voprisik. And what did you write above "I quote"
The difference is big! On Dx10, realistic reflections from asphalt and so on .. Plus add improved shadows and light from sources to this ...
If you write that you didn't notice the difference? )
Puzaa really, it's just that I got so carried away by the colorful graphics that I considered all the graphic aspects of the game for the brand new DirectX10 which does not smell at all there. O_0
