The theme of nostalgia

All those who still remembers such a wonderful game like Scrapland or played it recently. Friends who have faced such a problem where when playing a video there is sound but no picture? Digging on forums and various sites I found out that the reason is sort of like the codecs, but rather how to write in one codecs K-Lite codec puck, disabling this ill-fated codec hell mentioned in the list I discovered that the reason for the same is not resolved! Tried a bunch more different ways with complete removal of K-lite pack, installing the newer version or install another codec pack it.d. it.p and nothing is achieved. Who faced similar problem can help to share experience of the solution?
