Asus laptop does not wake up from sleep mode
About a month ago I bought an Asus K501UX laptop and for three weeks it lived without problems. But about five days ago, Windows (ten) for some reason decided to either reinstall itself, or something else. In general, there was a long installation of Windows updates: as with a normal installation. This leaves all files and programs. But just after that, the laptop stopped waking up from sleep mode. Rather, the laptop itself worked when the lid was opened: the blower turned on, the hard disk turned on, but the screen did not light up. Only restarting the laptop helped.
Tell me what's the matter, pliz
After the updates, it happens unfortunately !! I have a hospital, but I think the advice will fit the laptop !! Roll back to the counterpoint when all the rules worked and turn off the nafig updates !! I don't see any other option !!

Do not disable updates, disable sleep mode and enable (if disabled) hibernation mode and use it. By the way, for laptops it is more useful than sleep mode.

I do not argue I'm not a specialist in laptops! But after updates, glitches are unfortunately a frequent occurrence !! After the last update, Casper stopped working for me! So I spat and turned off the updates!

And I'm on the hospital, that on the laptop I use the built-in Windows defender and it suits me perfectly, and Casper, by the way, heavily loads the system.

way, I noticed that the screen not only does not light up - it barely flickers and goes out for a couple of seconds.
I read on the forums that this is a loop of the screen matrix

it was during reboot that
I tried hibernation - an interesting thing, though when you open the lid, the laptop does not turn on AT ALL (the hard disk does not work, ventilation too), only if I press the power button it turns on in 2 seconds

is not a loopback , just roll back the system and wait a couple of weeks and update again.

yesterday, I restored the system with the complete removal of all files - the result is the same

suits, but still not very pleasant: the laptop is 3-4 weeks old, and already such problems

everything is possible, go to the services in the taskbar-administration and disable

This is not a laptop malfunction, calm down. Your problem is a frequent occurrence both on laptops and on inpatients. It's just that 10 is still poorly in contact with some hardware, hence problems such as yours arise. And in hibernation mode, the laptop battery lasts much longer than in sleep mode.

There should be such a program on the laptop. On the asus there is something like Powerfogirgibrid (in English there is no name). On my asus, when updating dozens, this program flew to the touchpad. On the site of the asus, I will only update the touchpad, and I deleted the power hybrid, in general, almost all the software of the asus was deleted, it seems to plow everything.
PS Asus Power4Gear Hybrid is so called.
