FPS fell !!!!! WTF (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)
The situation is as follows. A year ago, The Witcher 3 passed (pirate, a month after the release of the repack from the hatub). FPS is pleasant at minimum (stable 25). So I decided to download it again and go through. And here the catch is that with the same minimum rates, it is already 10 fps. The configuration of the computer then and now is AMD A4 5300 with Radeon HD graphics, GForse GT 630 1 Gb, DDR3 4 Gb, the only thing is that the monitor is different (then 1024x768, and now 1680x1080). I updated the firewood to the very last ones, installed special ones for the Witcher, and even those that were before the release, I updated DirectX, C ++ too, I reinstalled Windows (8 like a year ago), changed the screen extensions, installed 3 different repacks (as with the last patch and with the first himself), in the nvidia panel I did everything, rummaged through the entire Internet and did not find anything useful. All these dances with tambourines gave me an increase of as much as 3 fps (approximately). I redid the config file, cut the grass, drawing, compressed shadows, compressed the texture of the earth and then received at the output at the expansion of 1024x768 20 FPS. So experts who came across this, that on the same computer in a year the game lost 20 fps. Maybe someone came across or knows how you can decide to share a secret. Advisors like buy a new computer and blah blah blah thank you in advance. I'm just wondering what ***?PS Screen after config rework

I sense what Azazelius is talking about. That is truncated through the graph config and resolution, that is simply in the settings for a minimum, the difference is 5 fps.
About performance degradation due to nvidia firewood? So this is practically a fact :) With each new version of firewood, they reduce the performance of old cards so that users think that their pieces of hardware are hopelessly outdated and run after new ones. Actually, that's why I have been tears from Nvidia for a long time ...
Try to completely clean the computer from the installed drivers and find the version of firewood that were relevant a year ago (or maybe even earlier you can try) - it suddenly helps.
MorganBlack I am sharing a
secret :) though everyone will ignore it :) not the first forum where I write.
There was exactly the same situation as yours after updating to new 365 drivers. ** and after that the videos in Steam Big Picture, The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and Dark Souls 3 began to slow down, and indeed the entire system as a whole (before this computer since 2013 did not touch or update anything and the drivers were old and which ones I don’t remember exactly and everything worked smoothly).
TTX: GTX 560ti (2gb), percent intel core 2 quad Q6600, DDR2 4Gb RAM.
Now the driver costs 314.22. At high-max settings in the game (high performance in the drivers) at a resolution of 1280x720, a pleasant 25fps +. At the same time, I am sure that it might be better to simply not take out the video card, and the power supply does not take out either the percent or the video card.
Good luck.
Interestingly, on the NVIDIA website, without knowing exactly the required driver version for your 560ti, you can only find versions from 2015 to 2016, although the card was produced from 2012-2013 I don’t remember exactly.
Why is the entire list of available drivers not displayed since the release of the video card?
I checked almost all drivers of 2015 - 2016, but the system works best in new games on old drivers from 2013.

The lists show that the 560 ti should be scrapped and NVIDIA is underestimating the performance, perhaps not on purpose :) in order to buy new products

This is also why they reduce the performance of their older graphics cards. So that they do not download it by accident and understand that the difference between old wood and new ones is heaven and earth in terms of performance. Therefore, you need to look for third-party resources, such as "driver.ru" and the like.

Mmmm very strange, if you want 100 fps, then shutdown will not save him, but if you want 60 fps and full HD on 980GTX ... in short, now I will turn off the slide and start the witcher with hairiness with full HD on one video
HamataYoshi
In my opinion, you are dissembling, fellow witcher from the school of pekabirs! Here, on full HD with all the settings with an incredible quality and with the hare works turned on at maximum with one vidyahy. With one gtx 980 at this resolution, it's still possible to play and not reduce individual settings

Why do you have more than 4 million MB of video memory on your screenshots - Afterburner (if it's it) is buggy, or I didn't understand something?
And, also noticed)))) Most likely buggy, since in other games everything is ok. So the garbage is also observed in the fourth folch.
SonyK.
I understood what was going on)))))))) I rolled it back one version, started it as administrator and set it to combine with win 8, everything became OK
1. If you have a freeze every half a minute for 5-10 seconds, use the BES1.6.2 program for two cores (google it, you will find it). (SO I HAVE REMOVED THE ANXIETY AFTER THE PATCH 1.08 IS OUT)
2. If the game is jerky and you have 8 Gig of RAM, cut down the swap file tries. (THIS POINT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, because that's how I almost completely got rid of the friezes)
3. You can also use the Riva Tuner program to lock the witcher at 30 fps, and in the game set the fps "without limits". When playing in Novigrad, load a 25 fps tuner through the riva (I understand it is low, but without jerks and it is quite possible to mow everyone and everything at the level of "death"). If you do not want to constantly rearrange the FPS tuner for cities 25, for another 30, then fix it at 25. There will be no jerks and you can play. (AND WITH SUCH PASTA I REMOVED THE REMAINING FRIES)
4. Also put in the control panel of the video card, for the witcher the value "high performance".
5. Leave Vsync enabled, it will reduce the number of jerks.
6. You can also specify a value of 35 for SpawnedLimit in the user file (the number of NPCs will decrease; if suddenly not all are loaded, for example, merchants, meditate and appear).
7. You can also set the following values: TextureStreamingHeadsDistanceLimitSq = 10 TextureStreamingCharacterDistanceLimitSq = 50 (as they were in previous versions of the game, but I could not track the exact impact of these indicators on performance).
8. Also defragment the system and clean it from viruses.
PS most likely the problem is in the RAM, the game used to cope well with 4 GB, but the patches were all overestimated to 8.

1.05 is the fastest patch I've had. At 1.06 and beyond, everything dropped sharply.

Well, just like you, I love stable 60 fps, that is, always more than 60 and not less fps, but when you are attacked by a pack of wolves in the forest at noon, the fps goes down to 45-50))
