? In the sense? o_O I don't really understand the essence of the question ... You mean, combine the functions of one Smod with another, the third, etc.? Of course, this is possible, since all Smods (reductions, outbreaks, etc.) are based on one basis, on a simple Smod, but you have to spend time manually sorting out and editing mapads, scripts, etc.

There is a separate Smodish for OB-engine, surely it can be screwed HL2ap:

And to work with liuschnoy updated HL2 (for which hl2apy needed), released an update, but you it will not work if you have a relatively old pirate (HL2 Ultimate Edition 6-7, for example).

Can SMods 02 be put on top of the usual ones? And then, in my opinion, at 02 there are no changes in Clay's lab, and others ...
PS By the way, I wanted to know everything - how are SMods fundamentally different? I know there is a basic basic one that went from ReDux, CSS SCI FI, Tactical Delta SMod, OutBreak, and SMod: Crysis. What is the difference - then ?!

how SMods fundamentally differ
Only in content, the basic basis - the code - is the same, the content is the same - opponents, a set of weapons, effects, game and gameplay settings, mapads - are different. Smod Redux has its own set of weapons and effects, in my opinion, on weak PCs Redux even slowed down, in contrast to simple Smod. CSS Sci-Fi uses CSS maps, it "turns" them into single-coil maps using mapads. Included with CSS Sci Fi there is a small utility that quite simply and quickly allows you to customize the game play - from classic HD to purely Smod hardcore.
Smod Outbreak looks like an LSD with its nimble zombies, but about all the other Smods - not in the know. Although, on the Smoda page about the same tactical it is written: New weapons and enemies with realistic tactical gameplay. - Again, "new weapons and opponents with realistic tactical gameplay."

And what after fixing on SMod 40 all the items, logo, new opponents, etc. - disappear ?!
Which one did you download? For your pirate OB you probably need SMOD 40a fixed by Onemanshow.

[RELEASE] SMOD 40a Fixed!

NOTE: This will conflict with the stock install of SMOD 40a. So move or delete the "smod" folder in your STEAMmods folder if you have it. And make SURE you close and restart STEAM before playing as critical fixes will not apply until STEAM is restarted.

For those tired of having to install fixes on-top of SMOD. This is a full install of SMOD 40a with all the needed fixes already included and installed to make it work after the changes Valve made to Half-Life 2 after the May 26th update in 2010.

This installs just like normal SMOD. But do not extract this over your prior SMOD install. Heed the note above. This also requires you to have the Source SDK Base (2006) installed to play.

The only changes done with this version are:

-Made SMOD load AppID 215 (Source SDK Base 2006) so it loads SMOD's code.
-Made SMOD load Half-Life 2's Base GCF's through the addcontents feature.
-Put in train fixes from latest Outbreak release (Better than earlier fixes as it fixes them without removing the trains).
The pre-the update -Added version of maps That Were updated with the May 26Th the update:

There are no unneeded changes, IE expanded keybinds, fixed models, etc. Only what was strictly needed to make SMOD work as it did before the update broke it. Although thanks to the engine change, a few things may act slightly different.

You might notice this version is several times larger than the "Official" SMOD 40a. This is because all of the needed pre-update maps included in this. I tried methods where the maps would not be included to cut down the size, but i was not satisfied with them.

All the items currently in the archive should work with this. And future releases here will be built with this version.

Played Tactical 5.56. Honestly - the only thing that is well developed there are weapons (especially the aiming system) and Barney in a GIGN suit. Complexity is not adjustable. Enemies will gut their clip in a split second, kill with a headshot from a shotgun from 240m (at a shotgun). Cs with bots is even more interesting to play. It turns out something like a shooting gallery. You sit in cover and shoot. The most jam is the Harrier plane. I just pissed off when I ran into him for the first time. Made of stormtrooper, shoots as well. Prisoan is beautiful. No blows away with one bullet a little. But, damn it, there is such an impulse from his bullet hitting your boat (this evil spirits are found in "Dangerous Water") that it throws it into the light over the edge of the map. In general, mapadd is borrowed from the 6th redux. Although I like him, the elaboration here of course .... and there is no tactics at all.

I liked Outbreak very much. Everything there is more or less subordinated to logic and the plot did not suffer. There are a lot of beautiful scripted scenes. The only thing is that G36 and sig552, in general chambered for 5.56, duplicate each other, to put it mildly. Same picture with p90 and mp5. I don't think the difference in a couple of rounds in a clip is particularly strong. Particularly impressed by the elite soldiers. The very ice is that you meet the first one in the Nova Prospekt prison (the local head of the prison), but only the murals are not assistants to you - they simply do not exist, and the prison, although crumpled, but there are more than enough jailers there, and everyone is at their posts, and civilians, if released, will do little to help you. First, this type calls for two soldiers, not yet seeing you - this is immediately at the entrance. And a little later you meet with your boss nose to nose. Healthy, like an ant guard (both in size and health), has a special weapon, which, although obliquely, but beats any walls, and in close combat destroys opponents simply into mincemeat. In my opinion - the best assault weapon in the game. And until you finish off this type, the soldiers climb without restrictions.

To remove these dubbing weapons - and we got the most elaborate single-coil mod based on Smoda. And if in the outbreak there were a couple of weapons and an aiming system from Tactical ....... And, of course, return the animals: ant lions, bullsquid (although he showed up in 8 redux), a dog and a poisonous zombie.

Have you installed 40a FIXED on top of the usual 40a, by any chance? This paragraph says that this cannot be done, it will conflict, it is written below that 40a FIXED includes all the necessary patches and is self-sufficient, and it is installed in the same way as a regular Smod. Nothing more important for the installation seems to be written here.
