Retro consoles, their clones and emulators
I did not find a relevant topic on the forum, so we will create a new one. I propose to discuss here any retro consoles, their numerous clones and emulators, as well as a variety of accessories (both licensed and not so).
Mentioning games from the console library (including all kinds of hacks) is also appropriate, but please do not get too carried away and do not drag out the discussion for several pages - in this case, it is better to create a separate topic for this game (if not already created) and move the dialogue there.
What is welcome: all kinds of (preferably high-quality, interesting, or at least just funny) photo and video reviews of consoles, games and accessories, personal impressions / memories, articles, creativity, etc.
What is discouraged: Any attempt to provoke Hallivar

Sega releases two new versions of its retro Mega Drive console
An extremely strange decision ... Is Sega really involved? After all, both new consoles have been sold under different names for many years. The most common: hospital - Master Titan, portable - well-known Gopher. The gamepads, judging by the photo, are connected via an infrared port, like those of the gallows Chinese forgeries of the early 2000s.
We would take an example from Nintendo and release a reduced copy of the classic Megadrive 1 or 2 ... Plus, to all the shit, the fan is thrown by the fact that the games from the list have never been officially released - discs, cartridges, steam, compilations, separately and etc. etc.

Rambo, most likely.

Sega has nothing to do with them lol
AtGames A Taiwanese firm that rivets clones of old consoles. Even their SEGA Gopher was sold in Russia with 20 built-in games

I do not even know if it was possible to buy games there through the store, perhaps I was still thinking. Of course, the acquisition is purely for nostalgic, to be honest, this is the first thing for which I can't even understand how much, even theoretically I could spend on it, but definitely not 4000

I agree, it’s not right without a store. If there was an online store with a full library of games, I would definitely take it! Even more expensive!
Honestly, I could do without the store, but I would like MORE games :)
And about the Internet store, remember the virtual console (3DS, Wii Yu) - there, IMHO, there are not many games, especially from third-party developers. I'm talking about more or less well-known titles.
Personally, I especially miss (see list):
- regular Contra (not Super C),
- Castlevania 3,
- Bomberman,
- Tanks,
- numerous Capcom Disney games (Chip and Dale 1-2, Black Cloak, Duck Tales 1-2, Miracles on the bends),
- about the cat Felix,
- The Jungle Book (it was the nonsov game that I liked more than the other ones of the same name),
- about Jackie Chan :)
- Lode Runner,
- Nuts & Milk,
- Popeye,
- Ninja Gaiden, not only the first part,
- Road Fighter,
- Snake Rattle'n Roll,
- battle toads,
- turtles (for me personally: 2 and 3 parts),
- Tini Tun 1-2,
- Wrecking Crew ... and stuff that didn't come to mind first.
What do you play (plan)? To make it comfortable for your eyes.
On a TV set (32 inches), I can’t bring this out (carried). It will be too much.
On PC and droid I use RetroArch with CRT shader for almost everything. Gives a cool picture, but you need to adjust and select on different diagonals. So far I stopped at CRT-Royale on PC and CRT-Caligari on phone (it looks great on the FHD screen of a mobile phone).
PS This is how a well-tuned CRT-Royale looks like (open it in full size)

Only 21 "Sony Trinitron CRT. As a result of numerous tests, I came to the conclusion that this is the best picture for Famicom, SNES.
@ -lena- For fun, a few weeks ago they hooked up some modern Chinese NES clone to a 70-inch TV. The picture did not cause rejection in anyone.
The Nintendo Classic Mini NES also seems to have HDMI. Should look great at 32 inches.
It is a pity that Sony does not release trinitrons now, at least for the sake of retro gaming lovers.
I still have a tube TV at home.
True, he has something with a kinescope and the picture in games does not look very good.
There are some highlights in bright scenes. I had to tweak the contrast and so on, but this way the overall picture also suffered, so I don't play it at all, although sometimes I want to.
A very cool person made a review of Dreamki, even learned a lot of new things. All three parts on his channel already, if that
