The best moments of E3 2016

xU1MKwq.jpg

Following the example of last year's topic, I suggest that users of the forum (and not only) Gamemag compile their top best games from the largest gaming exhibition that takes place annually in Los Angeles - E3. This year she pleasantly surprised some and really disappointed others. In this topic, I propose to share similar impressions and emotions that the greatest game show in the world gave.

The essence. Each of the users presents his top ten (maybe less or more) of the best, in his opinion, games from the last event in LA. Therefore, the calculation will be carried out according to the scheme: 1st place - 10 points, 2-9, 3-8, ...., 10-1. At the end of the topic, I will summarize and we will determine which games made the greatest impression, and which ones, on the contrary, did not please gamers at all.

In addition to compiling a direct top for specific games, you can mark everything connected in one way or another with the event: the brightest moments and the most bitter disappointments; what conferences did you like more than others and why; etc. The more you participate in the topic, the more interesting it becomes for everyone.: icon_mrgreen:

Well, something like that) I hope that nevertheless this event brought more positive than disappointment and that the games shown at it, for the most part, will be more than worthy : agree:

There is, as it were, a topic in which all this can be discussed. Why this?

well, here it is more tailored specifically for the top games, and everything else goes part-time - who cares)

Games:

1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Amazing music, great visual style, pure gameplay, physics, lore.
2. Sea of Thieves

The biggest discovery for me on this e3. Pirate crews of real people, open world, humor, visuals - I'm in love.

3. God of War

Scandinavian mythology, third-person view, glimpses of a good plot, adequate Kratos, peace, lore.

4. Horizon: Zero Dawn

The gameplay variety is amazing. Half-boss battle is epic.

5. Day's Gone

An attempt to dance in the territory of TLoU, with bikes, soul and huge crowds of zombies.

6. TLG Lived
.

7. A Hideo Kojima game

Kojima, no open world (well, playez), Norman Reedus, good music, stylish teaser.

8. Crash Bandicoot Remaster's

Better than the full 4th part.

9. South Park

Almost the best movie TV license ever.

10. RE7

Reboot series. After the 6th part, it was a prerequisite for the return of interest in the game.

____

Conferences:

1. Sony

2. MS

3. Bethesda

The rest is rubbish.
____

Top files:

1. Development diaries ME: Andromeda

2. Gameplay demonstration of FF15 at the MS conference

3. PC conference

4. Celebrity at the EA conference

5. Minecraft show

What pleased us at E3:

1) Sonya sent indie far away and showed only cool AAA games for almost the entire conference.

2) T-shirts have finally merged Juan and the PC, and as a result, I can still play the same gears without buying another unnecessary box.

What disappointed:

1) A dull confa from the gazebo, where there was a lot of nonsense about card games, the MMO TES nobody needed, game announcements in the form of CGI videos and very little gameplay. I expected a lot more after last year.

2) Once again, EA's scam with the show of the new ME, for so many years it was already possible to build a normal video with the game process.

The most interesting new announcements:

1) God of War is a very cool rethinking, the idea of raising a pestle in general is vyshak, the main thing is that Santa Monica is pulled out, they did not shine with the plot before.

2) Spider Man is not a big fan of superhero themes, but I really love Ratchet and Clank, so we are waiting.

3) Resident Evil 7 - I was interested in how they turned the move with the demo, in which they crammed a huge number of Easter eggs and different options for passing, apparently the creators are still able to think creatively, this pleases.

E3's Most Epic Moment E3's Biggest Failure:

Kojima's entrance to the orchestra and the lane lining up in front of him Kojima's gait too fast due to which he overtook the lane

Coolest E3 Movie:

Death stranding

Special nomination:

Last Guardian - finally coming out ...

Kratos is the father of all E3.

E3 came out boring and disappointing. Mikey finish off Juan, Sony does not want to lag behind and is already talking about Neo. Nintendo fans win, they get their rightful Zelda and don't care. I didn't find the best moments at the exhibition, mostly they showed clones of survivors, old stuff like Mafia 3 or expected games like Forza Horizon 3. RDR 2 didn't happen, GTA 6, too. In fact, only one project pleased me - Spider-Man for PS4. The Spider is the only superhero out there that doesn't annoy me. He has an interesting story and cool abilities that are great for action games. I played 2 parts on Sega and then another game on PS2 before that. I liked the video, with modern technologies there will certainly be a cool New York with interesting gameplay.

1) Horizon: Zero Dawn - it is not clear if the Dutch will be able to pull out such a project in the end, but now for me this is the best thing that has shown for the next 12 months.

2) GoW is the best announcement of the exhibition, but it is not clear when it will be released. Everything I wanted from the new GoV seems to be here.

3) Days Gone is the second best announcement, but even more unclear when. A very soulful trailer, technically everything is very cool except shooting, I liked the interaction with the world and of course the biker theme.

4) Release date and trailer for TLG.

5) Detroit

6) Spiderman - never liked this hero, but the trailer is amazing and the Insommenics can deliver a masterpiece.

7) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - but graphically the game is not very strong, but the art is cool and the gameplay really likes the way the interaction with the world goes. And there is no reason to doubt that it will be a very cool game.

8) Persona 5, Gravity rush 2, nier automata and Ni-Oh are awesome Japanese games.

9) Dishonored 2

10) Death Stranding

Disappointment

1) Konfa EA and developer diaries for SW and MEA. Stupid and impossible to come up with.

2) ReCore - not what I expected from this game.

3) Sea of Thieves - poor Rare, although essentially nothing remained of it.

4) Cold looks good))))

The best confes and so it is clear Sony ------------------------- MC + Ubi ---- Gazebo ----------- ----------------------------- EA.

My favorites are Zelda, Battlefield 1 and Year of War. MS had weights and forets as expected. I was also pleased with the Prey re-launch and the Sea of Sifs show. And finally, the release date of the Last Guardian was announced. Overall, an excellent E3. Even the Mass effect looked interesting.

Lucky N 28.07.21

Best games:

1. The Last Guardian: announcement of the release date.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: what is shown is impressive in its scope.

3. NieR: Automata: confident demonstration - a high quality tear extractor with a cool soundtrack is expected.

4. Dishonored 2: The best E3 trailer for this fall's best game since The Last Guardian.

5. Gravity Rush 2: a new trailer that Sony was too lazy to show at its press conference.

6. South Park: The Fractured But Whole: release date announcement, new combat system demo, PC director in action.

7. Persona 5: a completely different level for jRPG, it feels like a cut above any representative of the genre in recent years - the new trailer confirms this once again.

8. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: The demo shown at E3 confidently hints that Castlevania is back.

9. God of War: what is shown does not feel like God of War - and that's good.
10. Resident Evil 7: Shocking Transformation of the Series - Let's See If It Benefits.

Best press conferences:

1. Sony: perfect performance, uninterrupted showcasing of the best lineup of games at this E3.

2. Microsoft: normal performance, solid lineup of XBO / W10 exclusives, no surprises.

3. Bethesda: If not for Dishonored 2 and Prey, Bethesda would be somewhere on the bottom with EA and Ubisoft.

Disappointments:

1. Mass Effect: Andromeda: expected to see an epic trailer and a bunch of details with gameplay demos - instead got another Behind the Scenes.

2. Beyond Good and Evil 2: no news on the game, except for the words of a Ubisoft representative about the fact that due to the "bad" Ansel, development is delayed and constantly postponed.

3. Scalebound: another indistinct demonstration, now also with co-op - it feels like it's not mine yet, and it's sad.

4. XBO / W10 exclusive: now for me personally, Xbox One is useless - now it's Sunset Overdrive & Master Chief Collection Box, which is also temporary, probably.

5. VR: still nothing of interest there, I was waiting for the demonstration of Ace Combat 7, but alas.

Darklight 28.07.21

Games:
1. Persona 5 - everything looks as good as it could possibly be. And most importantly, dungeons are not randomly generated corridors.
2. The Last Guardian - 10/25/2016 - hurray!
3. Horizon: Zero Dawn - more and more interested in this project. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
4. God of War - I'm glad that rumors that the new GoW will be in the setting of Scandinavian mythology have been confirmed.
5. Resident Evil 7 - I'm not a big fan of the series as a whole, and that's why the new "clothes" of PE didn't cause any butthirt in me, but on the contrary I liked it.
6. NieR: Automata - The boss fight demo was impressive.
7. Dishonored 2 - unexpectedly began to wait for this game. The mechanics are gorgeous.
8. We Happy Few - well ... um ... so far very funny and unusual.
9. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - I don't feel any hype and I am indifferent to all Zelda, but the game looks cool.
10. Detroit: Become Human - I want to believe that this will result in something worthwhile.

What else I liked (outside the top):
- Spider-Man - must see the gameplay.
- Days Gone is still too raw to draw any conclusions. But on the whole I was interested.
- Sea of Thieves - kind of interestingly made, but sharpened online, so most likely past me.
- Death Stranding - trailer approx.
- Gravity Rush 2 - I liked the first one.
- South Park: The Fractured But Whole - the combat was improved so well, I was especially pleased with the use of the environment in it.

Disappointments:
- Demonstration of Final Fantasy XV
- Final Fantasy XV for VR is already superfluous, even if this mode is separate.
- Little from Nintendo
- Scalebound - something completely meh ...

Conferences:
1. Sony
2. Microsoft
3. All the others
