What acoustics do you use for games.

People write what you use for games. I have a Sony 5-100W receiver, 5 speakers 2 at 100w, 1 center 100w, rear 2 at 70w and a subwoofer at 150. In general, when I play, the neighbors listen.

SVEN 611 and Microlab m-800 ... It is quite enough.
Philips SBC HC102 wireless ears at night.
but with the subwoofer you wonder, is not as well heard all prelisti.Bez subwoofer speaker stronger napregayutsya and high frequencies are lost. [/ quote]
Yes, I know that this is a special column sab- for super low frequencies.
But there is no place to me stavit- room only 15 sq / m ..... :(
I had to do without the rear and subwoofer, otherwise the room was such bubnezh that would later become deaf ears I:. Mrgreen:

But these speakers and the receiver are the first ones that I have ever had (however, there used to be a couple of speakers from a TV set, but they were lousy). Therefore, I took them for a sample, and was quite surprised by the sound quality. In the future, I will give this good to my parents who like to watch movies on DVD and buy something better - I plan to have a Yamaha 750 receiver plus Davis Acoustics Opera / Infiniti Mercury floor standing speakers and a center from Paradigm.

PS I used to think that spending money on acoustics / receivers for the sake of sound is stupidity, like it's better to buy some Microlab AH-500. But how wrong I was ..... The difference between the sound quality of imported acoustics (Davis, Mission, Paradigm) and the Chinese type Edifier, Mircolab, SVEN is heaven and earth.

Cooller, well, I live in a not much larger room of 18kv / m, but in some ways you're right. And at the expense of the sound in the kalons, a lot depends on the wires they are hooked up with. At the expense of the Yamaha receiver, I heard over time kalonki spoil my advice with Sony , Nad, Marants or something from famous companies. And SVEN are created for films and not for music, I used Alex and now they remain, for music it is normal but not all models. Of course, if there are problems with money.

Before buying an amp, I strongly advise you to listen to several options. The fact is that the nature of the sound is very different for different manufacturers / models. About Yamaha I can say one thing - the high frequencies are strongly expressed. This is by no means a disadvantage; taste and color, as they say. I personally liked NAD and Marantz much more - the sound is soft and the scene is well localized.

a whole set of AC in such a room is, to put it mildly, stupid. For rooms like yours and I have a better choice - good fronts (floor-standing) and center. That's exactly what I did.
. At the expense of the Yamaha receiver, I heard over time kalonki spoil my advice with Sony, Nad, Marants or something from famous companies [/ quote]
In the sense that they spoil there?
According to my observations and personal listening to various options, I came to the conclusion that the best receivers are from Yamaha and Onkyo. Naturally, for mere mortals, not for oligarchs. :)
And the Marantz does not match the price / quality ratio too much (Denon is the same). Their receivers, according to knowledgeable people, although not bad, but their prices are too high, to put it mildly.
Yamaha / Onkyo is the best choice for a recreation center in terms of price / quality ratio.

Hmm ... SVEN speakers, and specifically a sub is something with something. : brash:

Good advice, but there is a problem - in my city, and specifically in the KYO acoustics store (only I took the receiver in the wrong place - I ordered it in the Tokataka online store) they do not allow to listen, tk. they are too lazy to bother with inexpensive acoustics (I have ordinary Davis, from the budget price category). I asked them to bring a receiver and try with different sets - it didn't work out ...... :( I had to surf the net and read the reviews and my choice fell on the set mentioned above (I took the fronts right away, the center later). - in general, I am very pleased with the sound quality, however, there is a bit harsh sound, a little noise is heard at maximum volume, but in general my kit loses very, very worthy for its price category.

As for NAD, I can't say anything specifically, but Marantz with its prices is clearly not suitable for the budget category.

So, don't touch SVEN, they have the best systems in terms of price / quality ratio :).

Cooler, they buy rear speakers not because the room is large, but for multi-channel sound. Loudness can be adjusted.

And how is the Estonia receiver generally considered in terms of sound quality today? If you buy powerful speakers there and somehow connect it, then what will happen?

Interesting: gigi :. I forgot to say, I bought myself SVEN IHOO 5.1 a long time ago for playing games on PC and watching DVDs. Satisfied so far, for such a small price nothing like this can be found in life. By the way, no one knows how you can connect this system to PS2? And then on the PC I now very rarely play and it's worth idle, you can say ...

I want to bring my Sonya to my cinema (Pioneer NS DV-77), but I’m still not going to buy an optical cable - there’s no time: cry:

The receiver is thin, from Panasonic. ES / EX does not hold. Acoustics Athena as here:

I bought everything by specials and saved $ 500 bucks: D

Would you recommend any receiver for SVEN IHOO 5.1 (system price $ 160)?

C
Cooller 06.08.21

First you need to clarify how much money you can shell out. :)

Something with a price / quality ratio and no more expensive than the columns themselves. In general, the cheaper the better :).

C
Cooller 06.08.21

For $ 160 you can take a receiver, but it is unlikely to have built-in DTS-ES decoders and there will be no digital optical input ....
If you want a good receiver with all built-in decoders and good sound for PS2, DVD and PS3 (in future), then you will not find a better choice in terms of price / quality ratio: http://www.pult.ru/product/7315.htm [ / url]
I have one and I am fully satisfied with it. (you can take the same for $ 230, only black)

But it's better to take speakers for them. In general, to begin with, buy the aforementioned receiver, and eventually save up money, sell your own and buy fronts and a center for this receiver. And you get great sound in MGS4 and GT5. :)
The sound in games is very important. With good sound, MGS3 is a pleasure to play. :)

S
SeYazh 06.08.21

Clearly, in general it is better not to bother then, but to save money for a normal system for PS2 (and then PS3 :)). And let SVEN IHOO 5.1 then remain for PC.
Thanks :).

C
Cooller 06.08.21

Better to get it for PS2 and PS3 right away.
PS3, judging by the specifications, supports all the newfangled features such as DTS-ES.
To begin with, buy the mentioned receiver, then the floor speakers with the center.
With these floorboards and the mentioned receiver, the very thing will be: http://www.styleshop.ru/product_info.ph. .. ndexmarket [/ url]

Or this:
http://bergenhifi.ru/showbook.phpRedir= ... owBook = 262 [/ url]

Center: http://www.rumag.ru/product/?id=4643 [/ url]
http://www.rumag.ru/product/?id=22959 [/ url]

The price of all this disgrace - receiver + floor stand + center about $ 550.
Expensive, but the gaming experience will be different. :)
