Just Cause 4
Developer: Avalanche Studios
Publisher: Square Enix
Genre: action-adventure
Platform: PC, PS4, XO
Release date: 04.12.2018
Modified on October 27, 2018 by KrayZ
Dynamic Resolution: XO 720p to 900p, PS4 720p to 1080p, Pro 1080p to 1440p, XOX 1440p to 4k.
At the same time, the normal scaling resolution is only on XOX, the rest of the platforms are in the lower limit most of the time. FPS is almost perfect on all platforms except XO, and the download speed from two or three minutes in the last part was reduced to 10 seconds.
Overall, the improved consoles are definitely worth checking out the game.

In fact, it happened, but the secret of this "optimization" has surfaced and it is not the direct hands of the developers
Quite a huge amount of work has been done. Physics was partially shifted from the CPU to the GPU, which, together with large scales, hit the resolution.
And it's still better than playing 20fps.

Xbox One & PS4 Patch
For Xbox One & PlayStation 4 we understand that motion blur is a big issue for some of you. We are therefore adding the ability to either alter the amount of blur, and the option to toggle the blur on or off. We have also made an important improvement to the resolution of the game on every platform. The full list of updates to expect are below:
Improvements to resolution on both Xbox One and PS4 Added a motion blur toggle to the options menu (following user requests) Added the ability to alter the amount of motion blur Fixes to some motion blur rendering issues Fixes to some texture mapping issues Other graphical improvements, such as smoother vegetation transitions Various stability fixes Lighting updates to some cut scenes
The Xbox One X got a 5GB update today. At first impressions, the FPS seemed to become lower and unpleasant twitching appeared in the cut scenes ...
I started to play. It seems like the same 3rd part (which is not at all bad for me), I noticed that now the hook immediately attracts objects and the physics is also a bit pumped. For example, a tower first bends and then falls. It looks cool.
As I understand it, the whole hate to the game is connected mainly with technical problems. My connection to the servers did not work right away, I started offline. In the 3rd part, this was always the case, the campaign was never set up.
I'm just wondering how they manage to roll out such a parachute graphics even on the X, I went in yesterday I saw the jungle and experienced a culture shock after anchik

Square Enix and Avalanche Studios have released a trailer for the Los Demonios add-on for Just Cause 4. The authors also refined the game with a spring update, which should make it more beautiful and more interesting.
In the story of Los Demonios, Rico and Xavi set off to explore a mysterious temple. Everything there, of course, will not go according to plan - an archaeologist working for the "Black Hand" will free the demons from captivity. After that, hordes of monsters will appear on Solis, pulsing vines and clouds of spores.
Paranormal guests instill fear in locals and mercenaries. Demons can infiltrate soldiers, shoot devastating projectiles, and even hijack vehicles. New missions are associated with the destruction of the supernatural infection. In addition, Rico will receive two new types of equipment - a demonic crossbow and a supply load with a demonic egg.
Los Demonios will be available on July 3rd. Gold Edition or Season Pass owners will start playing one week early on June 26th.

Are there those who completed the game? Once it is being removed from the game pass, I decided to read it.
I ran for three hours, sort of fun, but the uniformity of the missions just kills. Already 6 times I met the task "stay at the point while the download is in progress" and others are repeated. Further along the plot, some interesting chips appear or the game has already essentially shown me everything it has to offer? Overall, JC3 passed with pleasure, but here somehow it pulls completely on monotony, despite the fact that gameplay and physics jumped forward.
Modified February 17, 2020 by BerenFan of Just Cause. I went through all three parts with great pleasure. And Just Cause 4 dropped after a couple of hours. On Xbox One it slows down and looks bad ...
Tell me where to look for DLS on the map? ... The plot has passed, there are no more missions (dlssshnyh). Expansion Pass was activated by an activator based on a license in the Epic Games Store, it says in the menu that it is "purchased", but it is not in the game anywhere. Does this mean you still need to buy them? (didn’t nifiga activate nicho?)
Developers Just Cause and RAGE 2 are hiring employees for the "biggest AAA project" they've ever done.
Avalanche Studios has become known for developing games with large open worlds. From the Just Cause franchise, where each new game got bigger and bigger, to RAGE 2, which also had a fairly large open world.
The company is currently looking for new employees for several key positions in order to participate in a new, as yet unnamed project. It is described as the "biggest" and "greatest" project the company has worked on, with animation quality at the highest level in the studio's history. These positions include Gameplay Animation Programmer, Senior World Designer, and many others based in New York City. You can read about these positions here.
