Future Soldier takes the plot 15 years after the end of the Advanced Warfighter mess. The Ghost detachment is on duty entrusted with a very important and responsible task - to eliminate one lively ultranationalist group that somehow managed to overthrow the president of Russia. Well, in order to preserve peace in the whole world - "ghosts" must restore justice.
The technology and weapons used by the warriors will take Future Soldier even further than Advanced Warfighter. The Trailer Invisibility Cloak is just the beginning. “The soldier of the future is practically an F-16 plane on two legs,†the developers say. The game features armored drones that the soldier can control from a distance, and "mechanical amplifiers" (or something like that) for the legs so that the soldier can carry more ammunition.
The game has a co-op for four players. Each of them will be able to choose a character class, on which the set of available gadgets depends. Let's say a scout has an invisibility cloak. The sniper has a sensor that detects the beating of the enemy's heart. A small "rocket launcher" on the shoulder - at the "commandos".

I played beta, I don’t know who the game resembles MGO, it reminds me of SOCOM. Cool, of course, but quickly gets boring (unlike the same MGO in which I played for a very long time).

Yesterday was finally able to play a whole one game (though with I only took second place with my skill), of course everything is ok, except for this cheating highlighting of enemies. For the last 5 minutes of the game, I lay in front of the bridge and fired at the red silhouettes, 6 people did that.
Played another hour. The feeling that something is missing in Future Soldier does not leave. The mechanics are fine with me. but I don’t know, everything is too stereotyped. So far, in my first opinion, the game lacks the same thing that SOCOM lacked, i.e. some of its chips or features, zest simply. A game where everything is like everyone else, no more, no less. After such 3ps as MGO, Gears, Ao2 and other successful representatives, everything is somehow boring and mundane here. Yes, there is everything you need, but no more ... And this is not enough in such a very good "living" genre.
It's one thing when a genre is abandoned and you can do everything as usual, and fans will like it because there are not many games of this genre, it's another thing when there are more interesting representatives (even if some have already been released for a long time), it makes no sense to release this kind of game without distinctive features. Unless UBISOFT relies on the strength and authority of its brands (Tom Clancy, etc.) and the ability to present the product in the right form. In this case, yes, sales will be ensured without any interesting find or chips.
In general, maybe I just did not notice something, but so far in my eyes everything looks like a typical average peasant, i.e. the average game is neither bad nor good.
