No need to demolish anything, just install d2 again in another folder. Or copy the one you have and apply the desired patch. To install it again, you need to delete the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Blizzard Entertainment / Diablo II" branch from the registry (it seems like it was called from memory)
