Game Optimization (Alan Wake)
Here she is on the PC.Who has how many fps and on what configuration?
I have: I5
2500/6850/8 GB The video card, judging by the Afterburner, shows 99 percent load.
Average 35-45 fps.
Sparse for DH9 and such graphics.
Hmm, I have some firewood for October last year, I'll put in new firewood and try again.
I updated the drivers, it became 20-30 fps, but this is not a little better, because even when 30 fps everything goes in terrible jerks like 10 fps, what the hell is this, who is it the same?
gpu200
There have been no problems with firewood for a creative 7 for a long time. When you write something, first think about it, or at least read the forums (you will learn a lot).
HyperXStream
Produces 32-40 on average. Enough with the head. The settings are as follows.

Wild ghoul
ok, check the bummer, let it be your way.
but all the same, Alan cannot demand i7 and pec580 + for maximum speeds, it is clear that optimization is not ideal.
warp 37
To look in the profile is not destiny?
HD5770 1GB, 4GB RAM, Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 3.3GHz, Win7 x64. What is the problem?
UPD:
Here on this video there is a lump exactly like mine, only the percentage is still without overclocking, but I have overclocked to 3.3, and everything works fine there without jerking, but I have some kind of crap, what's the matter?
When I installed the game, I thought I'll play for 5 minutes and delete it. After all the comments, it seemed to me that it would be impossible to play on my log at all. After entering the menu, I turned all the settings to the maximum (except for anti-aliasing) and started playing .. And what was my surprise! Everything went very well. Yes, fps drops in some places, but not much, and it absolutely does not interfere with playing. The first episode passed in one breath. I am delighted!
Damn, what's the matter in my case = (((((
I guess I'll buy tapes and buy these ill-fated DLC live and go to the box.
exlipse88 Teach materiel Vasya.

Abram. If you knew how to do something more than just post non-pontoon pictures, then you would see that in this test even the GTX 580 produces only 31 minfps at high graphics settings, and the GTX 460 is as much as 18 minfps! ))) what can we say about DX9.0 video cards.
So you need to learn the materiel, clown.
I have a buhurt, this is not an optimization, but hell knows what.

How did nvidia screw up? I, on gtx 570, should observe drawdowns of up to 20 fps, and pitch-gang in all its glory.
There were terrible lags (fps 20-30). At the max, all settings. Comp i5-2635. 4 gb ddr3. ati5770 1gb. But after installing firewood from off site amd (new firewood just under Alan Wake came out) fps is stable, it does not go below 60. I advise everyone.
below 20fps does not fall, in the process of 2006)) And everything is at the maximum, except for anti-aliasing and filtering. Resolution 1280 * 1024
Hello everyone, I want to share some advice on how to make the game more cinematic. Let's start with the fact that I have an average computer (Alan is 47-60fps fullHD) and an LED socket with both HDMI and VGA connections.
So! Firstly, this is one of the few games in which VGA makes HMDI with its FHD at 100%. That is, I mean I play over HDMI in fullHD as a cardboard cartoon (as if posterized). Lowering the resolution via HDMI does not give a soft effect, in addition, Alan has strange support for resolutions, only two are displayed correctly and without stripes (most likely because of the TV set). In general, over HDMI with super clarity, this is really not what I imagined. I switch to VGA (native cut 1360x768). FIRST - the picture is many times better and softer! But still not as I wanted. Reduced the cut to 1280x768 (720p I display with stripes, but the extra 48 points do not count) and voila - just candy. Finally, it remains only to use my favorite program FPS_limiter and lock the game for 30 frames.
As a result, I have a natural cinematic with constant non-downloading 30 frames, with a beautiful soft (not soapy, but soft) picture (via analog). 30 frames is a relish - this is a real movie. 60 is the murder of the game, I don't understand why the developers didn't lock the framerate.
This post is in two topics if that.
Good luck finding Ellis, everyone!
