[b] gamer23 [/ b], you are our dense console gamer. Do you think there will be major changes in the schedule? There is no hope. Either there will be nothing new, or they will add some thread shader effects such as bloom or the like. Anything that will be updated will most likely also be downloaded and installed via Steam on your PC.

I think the console versions should be placed in a separate topic, because they are very different in content from the PC
[/ quote]
Yes? And why are they so much different, and even in CONTENT: shocked:
and I'll play on the console, there are all the episodes, half, everything is on a new engine, mmmm, and without brakes.
[/ quote]
We have already played all this a thousand times on a computer. we are sincerely glad that it finally reached you. The engine is old, just in EP2 it was redesigned and adapted for drawing large open spaces, several new effects were added, etc. The old engine did just fine with everything that HL2 and EP1 needed. I doubt very much that the developers will expand the maps there for you (i.e. make the open spaces bigger) only because they ASKED for you and as if they will ONLY release HL2 and EP1 for you on the updated engine (all these updates are elementary to download players via STIM). About the brakes. I have not seen an even more optimized engine than Source (more precisely, games made on it, specifically HL2 and add-ons for it + KCC, because VampireTM: Bloodline's optimization was limp on both legs, but this is not the engine's fault). Even not my old computer with medium settings, everything flies. And on this forum I see very few people with a computer like mine.
It
's okay to play shooters on the gamepad
[/ quote]
I would have put you behind a shooter on the console, but in one in which absolutely nothing has changed in the balance compared to the version on the PC. on dualshock, I was just doing it on PSOne in Quake2, MOH and others in multiplayer with a friend, after a month of such classes it really looked impressive, strafed and shot very dynamically, tagged pretty quickly too. But this, in any case, could not be compared with what can be done on a bunch of keyboard mouse. At the same time, there were absolutely no complaints about ergonomics - all the buttons were pressed very easily, it was possible without hesitation to press at least all the buttons at once (for which there would be enough fingers). In principle, the XBox joystick (and don't say you're not hinting at it) is also pretty good. But these rear shifters with a long stroke are very controversial buttons. And the ergonomics of this joey toy is far from ideal (too?)
[b] Arkon [/ b], I have no problems with joey, on boxing - very convenient, on dualshock - no. There, there are analogs at the same level and the joy for the midgets and their hands, and not for me.
On the topic - I don't know about the version of the game for the next gen consoles, I think it's worth trying only if the graphics really improve and the balance stays the same, otherwise I'll play better in HL2 E2 and the portal on a PC.
[b] Arkon [/ b], if you think that in order to shoot you need to completely release the trigger, then you are very much mistaken: wink:
If you think that I think anything about this at all, then you are greatly mistaken. I am thinking that it would be possible to make this button solid, and so - the closer your finger is to the main part of the joystick, the harder you have to press on this trigger.

Ehhhh, beauty! )) I am going through it again, I need to be in time before Ep3 is released)))
I'm not waiting for anything :) [/ quote]
unylo the
best episode in the history of mankind
but the feeling of incompleteness hung in the air ... for a long time ... damn you Gabe (((((
Already 3 years, yes!? Not a word. I remember how happy the trailer of the second episode was when the first one passed. And I remember how upset I was when at the end of the second I saw nothing
[b] MaXiDRoM_90 [/ b], Valve is tired of halflife just simply, they don't know how to come up with something cool and consistent with their level, and not repeat the past parts ... abandoned, went to experiment with TF2, L4D and Portal
[b] Xopek [/ b], true fans believe that Valv are still working on the last episode and that for all 3 years they simply have not penetrated through the walls of the studio any screenshots and rumors about work on the project (I am one of those naive).
tf2 and l4d do not think so cool games, the Portal is cool, but it still falls short
[b] MaXiDRoM_90 [/ b], l4d is the height of genius, the smartest network game, very tactful and entirely depends on the skill and cohesion of the team. Even one mega tough player will not pull the whole team, as for example in KS, Code, or whatever Tim Desmatch.
but unfortunately wildly Randomnaya because the AI Director and to whom it falls, Valve Balance Law, but here the concept does not allow (((
I think that on ep3 they work, but on the floor strength, when will come the inspiration do when there is no abandon and engage in others.
[b] Xopek [/ b], I'm not talking about l4d generally shit. As a
co-op - a great game) ps I just thought about new trends in valv ... I DON'T WANT COOP in ep3 and in the new CL if there is one, save me.
[b] MaXiDRoM_90 [/ b], l4d not as a co-op, but as a versus: razz:
well, the Valve want their games not to be pirated so co-op are introduced.
it is unlikely that there will be co-op in ep3, I think it will be a classic one. But the Valves are sitting and thinking how to do it cool, and at the same time, without experimenting.
I hope they will not go on about any Cala with regenerations and will not do cutscenes
[b] Xopek [/ b], ep2 was unrealistically cool compared to even the first episode (which was short and not so epic). Looks like when the studio conceived the second halcha, they already knew about the plot of the first two episodes, but with the very ending - what will happen in the end of the series - they did not figure it out.
Really wondering if a new seven-day war will start, or will Gordon and Alice somehow prevent the portal from opening !? I just can't believe that at the end of the second episode, they completely prevented it. And if the citizens of city17 were so afraid of the Alliance invasion that the seven-day war was supposed to be seven minutes, as Alice's father said !? - it means that the Alliance has some other equipment and manpower. Or in general what will be there!?!?! ??!?! Aaaaa. Better to hone Valv and release it at least someday, I think gamers will want it. True, in the younger generation, not many have gone through the second part, I'm not talking about the first. I think there is no such fanaticism behind them

[b] Clerk [/ b], the absence of cutscenes is, one might say, a distinctive feature of half-life, it is for this (the development of the in-game plot without cutscenes, endless action, the appearance of allies) many fell in love with Half-Life
