The game can't use all 2 GB of VRAM (Red Dead Redemption 2)
Guys, help please, can't understand why my game does not sees all 2 GB of VRAM. I have a GTX 1050 2 GB, but the game shows only ~1600 because I can't change graphics settings, because supposedly there is not enough memory, although the memory is not fully loaded. 7300HQ i5 / GTX 1050 2 GB / 16 GB of RAM, if anyone is interested. Thanks for the help.P. S. found a way to circumvent the protection system of video memory should be in Nvidia Experience to optimize the game manually, but still apply all the settings that are needed, so the question is still relevant.
guys, so far the best option to customize the graphics is to manually set the settings in settings.xml, and then set the "read-only" attribute. If you need I can throw off my config, you only need to adjust the video card to your resolution and the video card, and if you need to change it to dx12. I have most of the settings low, something on average, and 1-2 parameters on high, especially textures, so that there are no soapy wretched textures

You need to open it with a text editor and set it up there as you want. Personally, I set 2 hours exactly. If someone needs a more or less beautiful picture on a GTX 1050 with stable 30 frames, then I can throw off my settings config later, right now, just not at home.
