Should I start playing? And if so, for whom is it easiest? (Dark Souls)

In general, I wanted to start, experience this masterpiece on myself. I decided to start with the first part. There is a game in the incentive, there is a gamepad. I'm just afraid that the explosion of my fart will scatter the planet. What do you advise? And, if it's still worth it, what kind of hero (or class, I don't know what's inside) is it worth trying?
