Which video card to take
Hi, I have percent amd 8350 and video card radeon 260x, I wanted to change and came to the store, thought to take the gifors gtx 960, but in the store they tell me that only amd video cards work with amd processors and they say my system will not start, they offer to take the radeon 7970 for 19,990 rubles, performance is 10 percent weaker than gtx 970, is it worth taking?Glnai

Excessive supply is just not needed. When choosing a power supply unit, you need to invest in quality, and not in unnecessary quantity. Plus, excess capacity has its drawbacks. But this is another topic

judging by your own logic
This is not my logic. This is reality :)

The need for his video card is less than 970 and therefore most likely (99%) you will have to take another power supply unit.
Consumption of the specified configuration (without CPU overclocking) in a double stress test is no more than ~ 250-260 W at 12 V line.
With GTX 970 (except for variants with a particularly high Vgpu value), no more than ~ 350-360 W at 12 V line.
For example, a budget 500 W PSU delivering from 400 W to a 12 V line is enough with a margin in both cases.
The TS did not indicate its BP. Where did 99% come from?
7970 is a good card of the 960 4GB level, but the old and only standard price is 11-12tr for Avito, for 20tr it is nonsense,
ps percent does not affect the video in any way
2 options, which is the best? further not planned to be updated in the next 2 years
