I dreamed that I was in the lead role of one of the passengers of a cruise ship, and when the panic started I quickly hid in one of the cabins. Philip said that after the studio released Outlast for the Xbox One in June of this year, the entire team analyzed the situation and quickly realized that they were already ready for a new project. Wasting no time, Red Barrels began work on Outlast 2.

He only explained that the plot of the game will unfold in the already familiar universe, but the characters and the setting will be new.
