Play on x64 systems. (Crysis)
Somehow a patch was released to FarCry that allows you to sharpen the game for 64-bit systems. I personally checked it myself: on a regular XP I played at 800x600 at medium settings. On 64-bit XP, I played at 1024x768 everything at the maximum and the fps was higher than in the first case. Crysis already has support for x64 systems: when installing the game from a 64-bit system, a new bin64 folder appears in the root of the game and the startup file crysis64.exe. All is well, if not for one "but". It does not want to run on any of my 64-bit systems.Did anyone manage to run it on a 64-bit OS? Are there any significant performance gains, as was the case in FarCry?
On some sites they write that Crisis is not yet compatible with Vista x64.

I have xp 32, and in the game there is a bin 32 folder, on the back it is written what fits but does not start
For everyone who does not run Crysis on X64, copy the bin64 folder to the Crysis folder and everything will work. The link to the bin64 folder was on this page last week, now I see it is not.
I have a problem running on Vista x64 !!!!
When launched from the file Crysis64.exe, it says: "Error creating activation context for" D: GAMES Crysis Bin64 Crysis64.exe ". Dependent assembly" Microsoft.VC80.CRT ", processorArchitecture =" amd64 ", publicKeyToken = not found "1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b", type = "win32", version = "8.0.50727.762" ".
PS And when you run Crysis.exe from the same folder (downloaded Crysis_Vista_x64_Fix-Razor1911) writes:" Failed to load Game DLL! "Help pliz !! !!!!!
My X64 hangs when loading DX10, DX9 is loaded on URA, but does not allow me to put Very High. CRYSIS license from "soft club".
Hardware: Core 2 Duo [email protected], GeForce 8800GT 512mb. For DX9, set the windowed mode and loaded DX10. So I play on Very High in windowed mode. Can someone advise how to cure this.
We tested the demo on Windows XP x64. The benchmark launched from the BIN64 folder gave slightly worse results than they were on 32-bit XP!
64-bit Vista eats one and a half times more memory than 32-bit, so if you don't optimize it, the results will naturally be worse

On whist performance will drop decently. Vista is still full of callas. We are waiting for the first service pack ...
Well, better than on xp or worse at you. FPS gave out on average on whist and on xp? but my second core does not work on xp. and will whist be eating RAM?
RAM will eat 300Mb more, and FPS on whist 45-50 at very high at resolution 1024: 768, and about 50-60 xp

I doubt very much that 45-50fps. Even 8800ultra at 1024 gives max 40fps

Well, you, falcon, fill it in! :)) Do you have a lot on "veri"? Heh. Oh well.
Do you at least prepare yourself before you openly lie.;)
For reference. The game was tested on "veri" with three (!) GeForse8800s in SLI mode (WindowsVista). And she did not give out more than 40 fps. Comments, I think, are superfluous.
Well, I'm mistaken 30 Fps on xp, but I haven't played on viste for a long time, I don't remember sorry!

You know, not all users who buy licenses will change something in the game. And on XP, there are no DirectX 10 special effects, such as: smoke, explosion, fog. The rest just turns on stupidly.
Virus661 Please read
carefully! I just wrote that in XP VERY HIGH can be made available. About the fact that you have to poke around, I did not write anything.
By the way, this very high on xp is 97% the same as on viste - look at the comparative screenshots (there is a special topic on the website). There is practically no difference.
And about the license, I didn't understand what you said at all. What's the difference between a license or not ....
