When did you get your first computer?

My first personal computer appeared in the year 96-97 (I was 6-8 years old then), for some reason the name flew out of my head (although I always remembered it very well), but I remember exactly that at startup, DOS was launched first, and then from under it we launched Windows 3.1 (not 95 for sure) and such games as "Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion" and many others, he stayed with us for a long time, somewhere before the release of Vice City on PC in Russia, because it was the first game on a PC with a CD drive) UPD remembered, the percent was DX486) UPD UPD: write more about the first games on PeKa, mine, for example, "Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion" as I already mentioned, I don’t remember the rest by name, I remember just playing an action game like Duke Nukem in 1991

Dad bought the first computer in 2003, I was 5 years old. Then, in the year 2005 (6), he passed into my personal possession. What was there - I don’t remember exactly, but in my opinion some kind of AMD 1.8 GHz processor, and 512 RAM, screw 80 in my opinion, AGP video card. In 2003 it was pretty decent.

Yes, my memory is failing me. Frankly, I don’t remember what was there, I was not at all interested in it at that time. P4 really appeared in 2000, which means there was something else. Thanks for the fix.

I bought my first PC in 2003.
Celeron 2.4 GHz, RAM 256 Mb, HDD Seagate 80 Gb, Sparkle GF MX 440 AGP x8 128 Mb, ASRock mother, CD-RW Teac, Microlab case with built-in 350 W power supply. Speakers 2.1 from Microlab, monitor 17 "LG Flatron 710PH (not a bad handset at that time) ..
At that time I paid about 24 thousand rubles for everything, as I remember now) was decent for me at times, so I had to borrow some of the money ...

Pentum Northwood 2.4 GHz, RAM DDR 256 Mb, HDD Seagate 80 Gb, MX 440 AGP 64 Mb, Gigabyte mother, DVD-ROM. Speakers, monitor - LCD 17 "LG Flatron L1710S.

We bought it in the summer, so the computer is already more than 10 years old. Since then, the video card was changed to X1300XT 512MB, the memory was gradually brought up to 2.5GB, the winchak either died or not, but now we have 2 to 80 (on the second even Windows was with viruses).
