greedy!
until dx12 comes in hardware performance, all poor cards will no longer be trite to pull anything and go to the trash.
and so dx12 depends on the support of drivers tk shader model for all 5.x for radeon 7xxx it is even fuller in blocks and instructions than zhyforsov.

R9 285 R9 290/X R7 265. Take R9 290 is not much more expensive and much more productive

For people with brains, numbers are not a criterion in choosing a product. Compare GTX 970 vs R9 290X. The first tire has half as much, but this does not prevent it from leading in most games. But who am I explaining?

Tests from a single source do not allow you to objectively judge performance. I found where the GTX 970 merges (and that is not at all egregious), and I'm glad. I can find tests in the same way where your R9 280X leaks.
So it is not necessary to consider numbers as the main measure.
