Gameplay impressions in the first trailer (Fallout 4)
Personally, I really liked everything (I won’t paint in detail). The only thing I didn’t really like was that the animation is still not very good.King of the World
I wrote "another engine", not "new". The one that was meant to be different from the previous one, on which the F3 and FNV mods were implemented. This leads to issues of portability of mods, etc. (because there are a lot of very good solutions that I would like to see in the new game - from weapons and armor to global quests, such as Quest For Heaven).
Everything is super, the license is unambiguous.
But there are a couple of questions that frankly interested me during the presentation:
1. After leaving the shelter and meeting with the robot, he calls the main character Howard, by name. I usually call my character Kane. I wonder if the robot will also read it? By the way, I liked his humor)
2. Support for quest modifications. Already in Oblivion, such modifications with voice acting were in special esteem. But we had to introduce new characters, because the voices of the old ones can no longer be touched. But what about the main character? He will not be silent, like an idol? And changing his voice somehow is also not an option.
Treshcore 1. After leaving the shelter and meeting with the robot, he calls the main character Howard
If I'm not mistaken - Howard ... this is the name of the robot, not GG.
It's hard to surprise me, but Bethesda did it. Haven't had that kind of gaming experience in a long time.
Evil Spirit Yambuya
No, the developers voiced about 1000 common names and some characters will call the GG by name, I wonder if they voiced non-American names and whether there will be Easter egg names like Dovakin))
By the way, did no one notice that there are no skills in the pip-boy window now, only perks, SPECIAL and status, so the skills have been removed?
a thought about the plot It is also interesting that the face of the child in the future will be formed from those faces that we choose for the parents, perhaps we will meet our baby in the plot.

It's just that they weren't shown why on earth they would remove skills, because they have a very large part of the RPG component.
The gameplay made me more than happy, I'm just delighted, and I also really liked the new craft and modification of weapons and armor, the ability to build a dwelling, as well as defensive turrets.
it looks like an improvement in Fallout 3 in all main parameters,
but in principle, you don’t need more, if only it were interesting

I understand, and in fact, skills are what makes Fallout, Fallout from the first part, but in the pip-boy, in the video, where there should be skills according to the logic of things (traditionally next to perks), there is emptiness only perks, and the window with skills was not shown. Of course, there is hope that everything is not as casual as it seemed, and there will be skills and dialogues will not consist of 4 answer options)) skills, in principle, can generally be replaced with perks by adding them 3- 4 pieces per level and increasing their variability ala - perk by +2 to damage with melee weapons, or perk + 10% to the probability of successful persuasion, etc., and besides, the crafting possibilities are simply huge, maybe this is just a counterbalance to canceled skills (if that's true) I don't remember any game with such weapon customization, the same DS 3 nervously smokes on the sidelines both in terms of the number of modifications and their quality, including appearance
NTrojan
How do you imagine leveling without skills - hacking, eloquence, medicine, light weapons, etc.
Perks only add new abilities and give a bonus to skills, but no matter how they replace them.
I wouldn't even worry about it, why break something that works great.
saa0891
well, that's what I'm saying - perks in the form of skills and in more can replace, well xs perks without skills are also kind of not needed, they are by definition associated with them, so let's hope the skills are simply not hidden in the pip-boy)
MrWorld
you wrote that you completed ALL quests and complain that there is nothing else to do there?
There is an opinion that everything will be good enough in the new foul, except for the plot, tasks and role-playing, which will be reduced to a shooter solution to all problems.
In terms of the open world, Fall 3 was more interesting than Vegas, purely my opinion, in Vegas there are more incomprehensible and dick knows why caves were made, some boring shelters. In the 3rd fall, the rotten industrial parity of that time is immediately visible. More kosher theme
