DiRT3 has been optimized much better. Apparently, the developers did not try as hard as with the same DiRT3, which showed stable 60 frames per second almost everywhere.
If you set the quality of the crowd parameter (that is, the audience) to medium, then the FPS increases very much. Although there is almost no difference in the picture, especially in the race you look at the road. I play on the High preset, only crowd on the medium ones and it goes stably 23-33 FPS in the race itself. Resolution: Full HD 1920x1080; Antialiasing: 4xMSAA; System: AMD Athlon X2 5600+ 2.9 GHz, RAM Kingston DDR2 X2 1 GB 800 Mhz, Palit Geforce 9600 GT 512 mb, Seagate 500 Gb
Athlon 64 X2 5000+ is clearly not enough, on my Conf
Athlon 64 X2 4400+/2.7ghz +HD 5750 512mb gives out at a minimum of 30-35FPS, on ultra 15-20, in dirt3 - at least 40-45FPS, on ultra 20-25FPS , resolution 1024X768 ))
PS: UPS sorry for LOW gives out 30-35FPS, and there is also ultra low - there is 40-55 (strong spread due to CPU)
Q8400 @3.20GHz / Palit GTX550ti , 1280x1024 , 16xQCSAA , all on ultra , racing 25-40 fps

But this was the first game because of which Windows offered me to turn off Aero effects, due to low performance.
how can you say that 3 shit is better optimized when the graph is there UG !! and there are much fewer objects!

PS DiRT 3 ran very well on medium and anti-aliasing was the greatest.
complete nonsense, on my ancient computer at high settings at 1600 * 900 it just flies like DIRT3!

Come on. 23-33 fps - you can play. 30 fps on the box and then you have to get used to it.

Why is the graphics worse in DiRT3?
UG optimization, it is immediately clear that they did not try on the pitch version.
shitty optimization: minimum 29 fps - average 39 fps. Dert 3 had an average fps of 60 fps. The situation with the second shit is repeated, where there was a terrible optimization. Most likely a PR move to divorce suckers for new 7980, infa 1000%
