Why hots? Yes, because wow legends are collected there, a really new idea for a long time boring 5 by 5 maps. You feel the spirit of Warcraft as an MMORPG and strategy rolled into one. An interesting and exciting character development system, and besides this, a real continuation of the first DotA.
I was given it to play with a friend, I really liked it. Unlike DotA, people there are calmer. The main reason why people want to play HOTS is the friendlier community. Dota is already pretty fed up with its constant "mini-updates" and "Internet boyfriends of my mom". Valve does nothing with them.
