No, poisonous headcrabs aren't that scary in and of themselves. Here in a combination of poisonous + fast ones - wow, an explosive mixture>) I don’t really like fast heads themselves, but it’s not difficult to deal with a shotgun or at least a crowbar.

But barnacles, in my opinion, are the most harmless monsters. I stuck it, got up, hit it with a crowbar - that's all. There are only a couple of places in the game where they can surprise you while riding a boat, but they are easy to remember and avoid, and easy to dodge in the tunnels.

If you have, kill them with altfire from AP2 or crossbow. Or RPG, all the same, in places with attack aircraft there are a lot of missiles.
