Ray Bradbury
The master of fiction and a good personActually, a subject. Personally, I just admire 451 degrees Fahrenheit
"As for my gravestone? I would like to take a old lamp post, in case you are a night wander to my tomb to greet me. And the lantern will burn, turn and weave some secrets with others, to weave forever. And if you come to visit, leave an Apple for the ghosts"
Sorry. it is
Really like his works. They are all diverse - there are mystical, and fantastic, and just very touching stories. Many deep those affected. Compare modern fiction doesn't even make sense. Well, Fahrenheit 451 is almost a self-fulfilling prophecy, as sad as it sounds. Dandelion wine is a masterpiece, definitely.
Very awesome writer. A lot of feelings and emotions remains after the reading of his books or short stories.
Bradbury was a great writer. Not all his books are easy to perceive, not all amenable to understanding. Some I read, some would not, some pulled. He wrote the book not for everyone. But ray is no less great.
Fact: Bradbury, Asimov, LEM and Clarke the founding fathers of science-fiction that we read and watch now.
Damn, just the other day was my grandmother, there were many books of fiction, the father in the childhood was fond of and was Bradbury,it is a pity that did not take, and there is some horror?
but there is a grain of horrors?
Nicherta not there. Mastered two books with his stories. In addition to Fahrenheit is there life there at all, but sometimes it clearly justifies the first syllable of his name. A crazy story about a demon and part of a kite was the last that broke my patience, and then I burned the two books in the stove.
The word classic does not always mean quality.
Normalpage can not in images. Bradbury is not a technical reference, there are 70 percent of the text is a colorful allegory, flowing into one another. Emotions and feelings frozen in paper. To get the pleasure of reading these books, you need somewhere to stay young. Not to cling to normality and maturity to accept the rules of the game, not asking unnecessary questions. I can't pass.
A great author. Heard a lot about his works, and based on some watched movies, cartoons (there Will be gentle rain And sound of thunder).
Yesterday I read dandelion Wine - the first book of this author that I read.
A rare piece Bradbury non-fiction genre.
Loved it. In this small volume book contained a lot of interesting.
Enough of all, and characters and events and any thoughts and quotations, and the mood of the book changes in a very wide range - something fun, something sad.
She is easy to read and emotionally impressive. Generally closer to the end of it I almost was disappointed - too much sadness was in it, and so wished the ending was optimistic - and so it happened. Bradbury just took the inner child living in each of us, and made everyone relive the summer of 1928, along with Douglas, with all the happy and sad events.
A work of genius, in my opinion.
9/10.
P. S. In the future will definitely read his other works - 451 degrees Fahrenheit, Martian Chronicles, etc.
Fahrenheit 451.As the water looked.
Then you and the soap on the wall(modern flat screen)
Read so far only 2 of his books: 451... and the Martian Chronicles. Like the first, the second seemed a bit dry. It is necessary to read something else to the opinion of the author completely formed.
A great author. Read lots of short stories. His philosophical and literary style combine brilliantly. Liked the book 451 degrees Fahrenheit. It shows the consequences of society's neglect of himself.
Still liked the story Driving blind, proving that looks are not important, but who is watching?
In General, a good writer. I recommend to all.
Remembered from childhood something wicked this way comes. Oooo, that's horror!
451 degrees is unequivocally a masterpiece. but after that revered dandelion Wine, a little disappointed. generally not.
I have recently read 451 degrees, frankly, expected more. Had previously read 1984 Orwell got a lot stronger. 451 degrees was too similar to a certain sketch of the plot, the theme is, but as it is not disclosed.
Martian Chronicles as fantasy, I did not like. The beginning is great, it was very interesting to follow the progress of the expeditions. And then went to a series of short stories, which are poorly interrelated. It was possible to develop the topics covered in the beginning. Yes, you can see that the author wanted to touch on a lot of his concerns, but so no one and did not disclose. The end for me turned out somehow not logical. On Earth war began and the entire population of Mars came back. Why? Throughout human history, people have FLED from the war, for example, the same Syria now.
