Radeon 4870x2 Problem two cores!
Good day citizens! I want to share my observations. Recently purchased a new PC with a video card radeon 4870x2 but when you install to see current gig of video memory. As you can get to see two gig ? Or here the analogy with the processor ?and finally, why all the extra body movements ? in fact, I persistently prove two gigs I still can not see :-(

These gestures to work correctly and Crossfire was the increase in games , and these 2 gig is useless. There 2 video cards in one pack , so the memory is not shared but separate.

Vista x64 delete. Then it is better to download from torrent Windows Seven x64 build 7000(or 7022), and you will have happiness. if you don't want seven, put XP 32 bit. (On Windows Seven possible performance gains in games like Crysis , GTA4, etc.)

Tell amp-TA,after installing the driver Catalist 9.2, the Crisis Warhead glitches with the lockups disappeared. But when I was out,a couple of seconds.some artifacts, then Blue screen with error text, and restart the computer. In Fallouta 3 identity when entering this bug,though without a blue screen. Koggda play all the rules. What could it be.? With the old driver this was not, but was just const.hang in Crisis..

Download the driver from the AMD website for your video card and operating system that you have installed. Remove old drivers ( all ) control panel add or remove programs. Then install the new driver.
Put the firewood version 9.3. they are the most normal for the HD 4870 and HD 4870 x2. Optimization of drivers by 10 %.
All right 1 GB on a chip. The same goes for me on GTX 295 1792 MB and chip goes on a 896 MB. This is as it should be.

Driver Sweeper-not working on Vista-64bit. At least I have.What is VISTA-64bit.?
On Vista 32bit - 4GB see RAM.
XP - 32-bit - cross fire, I have not included. On Vista everything works fine

I have Vista Ult x64 Driver Sweeper works quietly. You can try Vista Manager(is for x86 and x64), however, it is a complex outfit in one package, but registry cleaner there is that is necessary. The program is only in English. Clean them after uninstall conventional means of course.
