4k 60Hz or 2k 144Hz (30t.r.)

What to take for 30t for games?
Looked at these options ...

4k***
#1 SAMSUNG U28R550U '28,60,000, IPS 300kd/m2, response time 4ms)

#4 ACER Nitro VG272UPbmiipx (screen: 27", frequency: 144Hz, IPS 400kd/m2 matrix, response time (GTG) 1ms, NVIDIA G-Sync)
Spoiler http://www.citilink.com.au/catalog/computers_and_notebooks/monitors/1367192/

I'm leaning more to 2k #4. The video card will take most likely 3 x when come out or 2080Ti.
I want more direct screen, as it is more familiar. About curved heard, play and movies dispute is not fun, but here to work is not very ...

About 4k, I'm afraid that the video map will no longer be relevant in 3 years, because for 2k I will be able to sit for 5 years ...

HP Pavilion quantum Dot 2K. Also not bad, that's just ACER Nitro VG272UPbmiipx wins it in all characteristics ...
Hertsovka for me is not the main thing, well, if it is then why not))
And all my life to sit at 60Hz, I want something new already ...

Thanks for the options, the moikas are not bad. But for 35t is not very desirable and then we and to 40t will reach )))
Even though Ben's EX2780 is very tempting...

What can the budget Eser win compared to HP? )))
He doesn't have HDR at all. 108 ppi vs. 109 ppi. The pixel is the same size as 233 microns, with Aser 144Hz. Eser's ICE, HP Kuled. In my opinion strongly sucks just Eser, not HP, which is not at all and not surprising, so it should be.

Acer vs HP
100000000:1 - 5000000:1
1ms - 5ms
HDMI 2.0 - HDMI 1.4
144 Hz - 60 Hz
70 W - 90 W
NVIDIA G-Sync - AMD FreeSync
Adaptive-Sync - .....

You're not trolling. Naturally, with good color and can not be different.

What's going on? If you have a DP.

This just shows that HP has better color reproduction, so it consumes more. I'm on my 120W, but it's 10, it's certainly no comparison at all. )

Looked at here another) Acer Nitro XV272UPbmiiprzx, similar to that in the cap (#4) the difference of 500p.

Acer Nitro XV272UPbmiiprzx === Acer Nitro VG272UPbmiipx
DisplayHDR 400
Vision protection technology is not there (although I do not care so much)
350 Kd/m2
AMD FreeSync === NVIDIA G-SYNC
Pixel density 109 ppi
USB hub is there.

After much thought, chose Acer Nitro XV272UPbmiiprzx... The wau effect is achieved, after the FHD - TN matrix.

The question is - when can 144hz put only 8bpc and when 120hz then 10bpc, so should it be?
Spoiler
Connected immediately on the DP 1.4 cable, HDIM did not try.
If I put 120hz in the wind, 144hz works in games...

Apparently. And what's the difference between 8 and 10 bits?

Honestly, I haven't noticed yet, so I want to find out the people who know you...
The joke that in TN at 60hz, you could put 12bpc))))

It is very doubtful that the matrix could draw them.
On the monitors, the option is 8 bpc, on TVs - 8 bpc-FRC. But the vast majority of people simply do not distinguish such a number of shades.
10 and 12 bpc is just what a graphics card can provide, the monitor itself is not.

Thank you, as I get to this) only whether to bother on my old lady GTX970, I DDU 3xx series! In the meantime, I'm going to re-pass the old games. Already tested in a couple of games where included was a vertical, special off it, but the breaks and did not see unlike the old Monica ....
And I didn't do anything in the Nvidia driver....

So here and there is a depth of color just 8 bits of FRC, that's why I wonder how best?
144Hz put 8bpc or 120hz and 10bpc....

WaFFeN WolF
Well, I don't think the difference will be noticeable.
Bet 144.

W
WaFFeN WolF 30.09.20

I tried to inc through HDMI, the difference in the color of the person transmission did not see, but there is a difference in Hz and bpc:
SpoilerHDMI
144Hz - 8bpc
120Hz - 8bpc
100Hz - 8bpc
60Hz - 8bpc / 12bpc

Dp
144Hz - 8bpc
120Hz - 8bpc / 10bpc
60Hz - 8bpc / 10bpc

Spoiler
FreeSync works only through DP and on NVIDIA since the 10th series....

10-bit need for HDR10 in games !
Take Horizon zero Dawn and log HDR into 10-bit, the difference is colossal with 8-bit)))

The FH4 is installed which officially supports HDR, and here's the joke...
DP does not want to work with HDR, only passive (monitor menu), the game does not even have an hdr item...
Since HDMI works with it for cheers, there is a setup in the game and holds 144Hz... Windows determines that hdr is connected...

And in general, if in fact your Nvidia 970 does not support DP 1.4 because of such shods)))
Put 10-bit and 120Hz with HDR, will be the most adequate solution !

As I wrote above, there is no such thing on HDMI
SpoilerHDMI
144Hz - 8bpc
120Hz - 8bpc
100Hz - 8bpc
60Hz - 8bpc / 12bpc

Dp
144Hz - 8bpc
120Hz - 8bpc / 10bpc
60Hz - 8bpc / 10bpc
And 970 and the truth supports only (Dual Link DVI, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2) well at least HDR started to rivet with this series))) there is a fix for 970 - DP 1.4
Spoiler http://support.nvidia.eu/hc/en/articles/360000024200-update-built-graphic-software-software-for-displays-working-through-displayPort-versions-1-3-and-1-4-me didn't help. Later we will look at the new species, whether there is any sense from DP.....

P/S - It's a pity spent time and money riding behind the cable DP 1.4....
