Game freezes (Fortnite)
After 5-40 minutes, the picture freezes tightly, it only helps to quit Windows, the task manager does not even open to close the game. This problem appeared for this week.
And you can't even predict when the game will freeze, maybe in 5 minutes, or maybe in an hour and a half.
What could be the problem?
PC:
Ryzen 5 1600af
GTX 1660 super
16gb 3200

Hello
My name is Sparrow!
I understand that your game freezes when you enter a lobby or battle! don't worry, I'll try to help you! First of all, if you are using an overlay from other launchers, we recommend that you close them!
Then try the following:
Verify game files
Open the Epic Games Launcher.
Go to the library.
Click on the three dots next to Fortnite.
In the menu that opens, select Manage.
In the window that opens, select "Check files".
Run the game as Administrator.
Update video card drivers: Nvidia AMD Intel
Disable programs running in the background.
Repair the Visual C++
Redistributables Download all the Visual C++ Redistributables from this link.
Don't forget to download both versions: x64 and x86.
Once the download is complete, run the files and select Restore.
Note: If there is no "Repair" option, follow the on-screen instructions for a typical installation.
Once the files have been restored, restart your computer.
Restart Fortnite.
Set Compatibility Mode:
Go to your Fortnite binaries folder (default: C:Program FilesEpic GamesFortniteFortniteGameBinariesWin64)
Locate FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe.
Right-click on it and then select Properties.
Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box.
Make sure Windows 8 is selected.
Check the "Disable Full Screen Optimization" checkbox.
Click Apply.
Click OK.
Restart Fortnite.
Use DirectX 11
Open the Epic Games Launcher.
In the upper right corner, click on the first letter of your display name.
Select "Settings".
Scroll down and expand the Fortnite section.
Check the box next to "Advanced command line options".

Note. to revert to DirectX 12 you need to remove/uncheck this command.
If the problem continues, please let us know! I will wait for the results!

Crashes at any time, but if in dx11, then at the end of the round, when it shows 1st place and starts loading something and immediately freezes, just kill the process, all other rendering modes crash randomly in the game, it’s impossible to finish the game, 9900k and 3080ti
we are waiting for a support patch, I wrote a long time ago they say I will reset all settings right now
BUG REAL. fort has acknowledged the bug and doesn't know what to do, waiting for reports from users, because schoolchildren from India can't figure out where they messed up.
