RX588 temperature

In a few minutes RX588 warmed up to 80 °:
Spoiler
Is this the norm?

Today I changed the thermal interface:

Before that it warmed up even faster:

I would not like to repeat this:

Do you really have to change the thermal pad to this one ???

Should I put it under the press ??? Or between the VRM / chokes and the radiator 40 blinkers is not enough ??? 60 is it necessary?
I knew that you would gloat, so I didn't contact you in PM

If you're talking about MSI Afterbuner, you can change the names in it. By default, "GPU" is written on the card, "CPU"
Didn't know about this function. Now about overheating. Perhaps you have a short circuit somewhere, but it happens that with a short circuit everything can work, but at the same time the heating increases greatly. Now I have a GEFORCE RTX 2060 VENTUS XS 6G OC, the maximum temperature in the fur mark stress test is 75-77 degrees, with a cooler speed of 70-75% (depending on the temperature in the apartment). Such a question, but if you fix the cooler speed at 80%, how much will the temperature be?

Sergjiei I have
never heard of a short circuit. In general, it began to heat up even before opening to 84 ° (video above) in 4 minutes. Also above is the video where the speed is up to 100% spun (3500 rpm)

The gap between the chip - thermal paste - heatsink. In this post you have traces of air between layers of thermal paste https://forums.playground.ru/hardware/video/temperatura_rx588-1003123/#comment-19042950

So I need an even thinner thermal pad for memory banks? Or what? 0.2 mm from Thermalgrizzlies are very expensive. Does it make sense to buy them?

Try the following thermal pads:
0.5 mm for memory chips, hardness 25 shore 00
https://www.dns-shop.ru/product/cdccae470bb53330/termoprokladka-pro-legend-pl4203/
1.5 mm for power circuit
Or brand Arctic. Arctic (HK) Ltd products are sold for Pro Legend PL4200 ~ PL4208 :)

Thank you very much, you helped me a lot:

I'll experiment with frequencies. I set the valve turns 1% to 1 °.

Is this a stable working option or was it just a "test of the pen"? Lack of food is also not good

It was an experiment so far, but I am trying to lower the frequency a little and not as hard as in the video, but not to exceed at least 80 °. I have little time for long tests.

The problem was in 4 washers under the bolts pressing the radiator. They were crumpled into a cake. I removed it from the old katra, replaced it, and the pressure became better. Maybe it will come in handy for someone in the future.
