Underrated games
We live in a time when the game market is flooded with shooters, Call Of Duty, Battlefield, Medal of Honor and other shooters that people buy from year to year in order to kill time and shoot targets. People spend too much time and money on these games and often miss out on other pretty good products. Developers can release a great project, but very often they fail in sales and will not risk it anymore. Q: what games do you think do not deserve to be forgotten in the endless ocean of shooters and other giants?[color = # 339933] [size = 2] Added after 4 minutes 38 seconds: [/ size] [/ color]
A striking example of this in my opinion: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the game is not bad enough, but it failed in sales, the developers were fired, the franchise is in limbo. Sorry very sorry .... Modified on July 24, 2012 by Rage-Man

Fighting Force

I still remember a big guy who can be played. I went with my brother more than once in my childhood.
A pack of old school toys with Wii, a pack of exclusives pc.
First of all [b] Epic Mickey [/ b] - the game has an unreal, as it is now fashionable to say, "art direction". The game, obviously, was made with great love for Disney heritage, each location is meticulously worked out, contains a lot of beautifully executed allusions to early and post-war Disney animation. And the fact that a good old, at the same time undeservedly forgotten adventure / platform, mixed with Spector's [relative] freedom of choice, is going on in such scenery is also a huge plus for the authors and the toy itself.
Yes, there is not enough fun / intensity of action in moments, yes - there are enough fillers, yes - from those. tz. some things are implemented crookedly (camera, control - although hardcore players should be on the drum) - and a significant part of foreign igropress, referring to their formal criteria, displays a miserable 70% for a wonderful toy. And there, after all, damn it, a huge 100 nostalgic work, with a soul. And it is not a fact that the "polished" second part will be "more soulful". But the rating will be higher. In a word, they greatly offended one of the games of the generation - at least one of those for every self-respecting old school student.
[b] Silent Hill: Shattered Memories [/ b] - here the Eurogamer hit the spot with his review. Solid, [s] linear [/ s] (not that word, rather, "corridor") quest with a set of endings on duty, moderately beautiful, with a good soundtrack, at the same time light, atmospheric (and no need to chase - the guys pampered and hands began to grow from the wrong place, quite digestible game sections, introducing a very appropriate arrhythmia into the gameplay), but ... to all this, a quest that has at least a second plot in the series - supply, development, endings - the theme of family relations, relations between parents and children are revealed in the most unexpected angles, and even in the form of a kind of fierce surreal thriller - towards the final chord, the jaw involuntarily begins to rush to the floor. How the hell did the bastards turn up and tied up their types "
Finally, the fact that the mainstream reviewers measure pksh global strategies with their console yardstick, and such things as the first victoria or the first crusaders have absurdly low scores for the "monstrous threshold of entry" and "unintuitive gameplay" is a separate topic. Here you have to ask the reviewers themselves where they climb with their crooked face, and at the same time with crooked hands. Fortunately, the same paradoxes with each new part are getting closer to the people, and more people are getting involved. Nevertheless, the first [b] Crusader Kings [/ b] and [b] Victoria [/ b] were offended even more. Modified September 24, 2012 by Di
Dante's Inferno. Although the game is a goov clone, I liked it. Passed with pleasure 2 times and sometimes there is a desire to re-pass.

It's not about preferences ... the game, having wonderful content, simply "didn't work" like a game.
And this is sad.

Yesterday I passed it and updated my impressions ..
Indeed, I shouldn't have argued, now it's obvious to me that, for example, the combat is just awful (especially in the place where you need to eliminate specific monsters, you know) and the gameplay is like "let me smell the object and follow the dog, "annoys me.
Somehow they made such a warhead in vain, or even made fights in vain.
And the plot is very fragmentary and then you need to add it up in your mind for a long time.
But it's still a masterpiece! Just an amazing idea, atmosphere and plot so tragic and gloomy + passing through the second time you understand some terrible details and the picture becomes more and more difficult and impressive.

also think about replaying. Half a year has passed since I launched it for the last time ... impressions and visuals are still in my head. I sunk into my soul. But the impressions of the weaknesses are slowly beginning to fade.
Truly, it's not about the gameplay. Modified October 12, 2012 by ThirtySix
Rule of Rose is really a game with a unique atmosphere, and the plot is excellent, after all, there are more advantages in the game, and you simply don't pay attention to the miserable combat system.
BioShock 2 is the same as Part 1, only more varied, it is not clear that everyone does not like it so much.
Giants: Citizen Kabuto this was an awesome game. Fell in love with her the first time. Unreal at that time grafon, insanely funny characters and plot, gorgeous multiplayer. Everything was, but there were no sales Yes, and few people will remember now about such a masterpiece.
I remember replaying in Kabuto recently.
And the underrated games are Splatterhouse. Driving bloody bitemup, drowned in the press for not being glamorous and not expensive. Passed twice.
[b] [member = Chornolio] [/ b], Armed & Dangerous and Infected (PSP) are worth trying from the same Planet Moon, the graphics and gameplay are weak there ... but you laugh out loud
[b] [member = Xopek] [/ b],
Armed & Dangerous I remember very much waiting and was terribly disappointed. There was no charm of the Giants ... Infected somehow missed it. Modified October 16, 2012 by Chornolio

No PR, the game was not in sale -> very few people know about it. I
went over yesterday

Wow, there is no PR!
Yes, KOF got so much PR that it was pouring out of his ears.
Or have you forgotten that it is in the moddb.com space?

You weren't there, we were. Although, purely aesthetically, the Giants were not surpassed. And what a sky in the Giants, ah.

this is the problem. the game is too "sequel", and not many wanted to pay $ 60 for the same game
