15 minutes of Ratchet & Clank gameplay
The developers believe that the game is suitable for both fans of the series and newcomers.
The show showed a fragment of the gameplay where Ratchet lost Clank and was left alone in Nefarius City - in a parallel universe, Dr. Nefarius became a powerful emperor.
Ratchet will meet alternate versions of familiar characters in other dimensions.
The developers focus on the fact that the environment in the game has become much more alive - we are talking about both NPCs and vehicles flying in the background.
Ratchet can now run on walls and dash - he has become more mobile and agile. Dash is actively used in battle to evade.
The weapon in the game uses all the features of DualSense - including partial trigger pull for an alternate fire mode and a haptic that reflects the release of each bullet.
During the battle with the boss, Ratchet changes dimensions - not individual locations are instantly loaded, but entire levels.
Rivet, the Lombax girl, will be playable.
Recoil is also used to give the player more information during combat, such as when the enemy can be attacked.
In addition to full-fledged dimensions, the game has "pocket" - small locations in between the worlds. In one of these dimensions, Rivet acquires transport.
The video showed several new weapons, including the Shatterbomb - a glove with powerful grenades, the explosions of which are contextually felt through the gamepad.
The game will have open locations, arenas, air battles and a photo mode.
The release date is still June 11th.
