Watch Dogs' storyline is built on the concept of information warfare - data has become interconnected, and the use of technology is increasing in the world. The game is set in an alternate version of the reality of the city of Chicago, Illinois, which is one of many cities using the ctOS supercomputer. The system controls almost every part of the city, and also contains information about all its residents and activities that can be used for various purposes. In the game's universe, a power grid accident in the US and Canada was triggered by hackers to spur the development of ctOS. The main character in the game - Aiden Pearce - is a highly skilled hacker, delineated as a person using "both fists and intellect." In the E3 gameplay demo, Aiden was shown using the disconnect ability,
Game process
The main gameplay elements of Watch Dogs include hacking and surveillance. The game's protagonist Aiden Pearce (voiced by Noam Jenkins) can use any device connected to the city's central operating system (ctOS) as a weapon against him. During the gameplay demo, Aiden, in order to get to a paid art exhibition, as a distraction, interferes with the signals of mobile phones, and also listens to telephone conversations for information about his target, and affects traffic lights, causing a car accident to intercept the target. The player can also access information from ctOS on the NPCs they encounter, including information about demographics, health, and likelihood of violence.
Development of the game began in 2010. Ubisoft Montreal creative director Jonathan Maureen noted that Watch Dogs aims to “go beyond today's open-world games,†allowing players to use its information as the basis of the plot, and control the entire city with its hacking mechanics.
The game was officially unveiled during Ubisoft's press conference at the 2012 E3 International Gaming Show. Previously, however, a trailer for the game was mistakenly posted on the Ubisoft YouTube channel, but was quickly removed before its official debut. Later Ubisoft confirmed the release of the game on the PC.
On February 15, 2013, GameStop employees sent Kotaku a promotional image of the game, along with a more detailed storyline. The flyer photo hinted that the game will be released in late 2013 on "all home consoles."
For the game, Ubisoft Montreal has created a new game engine called Disrupt. Ubisoft has prioritized the development of PC and eighth generation console versions of the game.

the most pleasant thing in this case is to see the word TBA in the platform section.
I hope this is not a repetition of history from E3 2005
I never liked Yubisoft. but then they really shook me. Rockstar from GTA5 was deeply taken by the cheek.
now I whitewash into the project madly. Yubisoft overshadowed the whole E3 with this game
[Quote] Rockstar from GTA5 was deeply taken by the cheek. [/ Quote] Wow
. Rockstar is certainly great, but GTA will certainly always be a game about cattle and romance from the big road. That is, they coolly show the characters of such people, that some people have more honor than any politicians and policemen, but this is all essentially chernukha.
And here, if the game is stretched to the level of e3 demo, the near cyberpunk future, the main character is a hacker with a cool wand and in a stylish raincoat, and in addition to sandbox, the game has its own flavor besides the traditional steal / kill from all games - a gadget capable of hacking anything and gameplay built on this.
It is clear that not GTA, not [i] Watchdogs [/ i], very few people have seen yet, but so far this is the feeling.
here they say correctly that yubisoft can fix it. They initially have an entertaining game with a good concept but average execution - and they only begin to fix it in the sequel. This is true for the assassin (the first part was very tedious), the headlight edge (the second was the same boring drag), the updated splinter cell

I want to hope that here they will not hit their faces in the dirt

Well, you can see from the demo how people are animated there and the general style is that everything is in order with them. Although I don’t remember the first videos from the AC, there was no opportunity to watch the stream then, but it’s still wrong to compare the old Yubi with the new ones, right now they have already learned a lot, on the Assassin the same. Although it's too early to think yes, even the release date has not been announced yet.
And you say, the grafon is not important in games.
I liked it very much. Hopefully, there will be many more different goodies in the game, in addition to those that have already been shown.

Moreover, it is not known how the game will look in the final bill

Due to the time difference between the announcement (this show) and the release, of course, it is worse even if they are tightened up. But I am sure that it will still be a very powerful level.
Back in the day from the first Assassin, when it was announced, everyone also went crazy. However, there are now a lot of people who despise the series. I hope this will not happen with Wachdogs and the game will take its toll by breaking everyone. Modified June 5, 2012 by MRDrama
It is very pleasant to watch the picture when callous gamers-crackers unanimously ejaculated on this mind-blowing announcement The
industry is still capable of surprising, and I already thought that I had become an old owner of the gaming climax
Yubisoft finally guys GTA 5 let's see you Changed on June 5, 2012 by Pony Slaystation

don't you work in kotaku?
[b] [member = realill] [/ b], this is a current gene. How many times have you already said ..
platforms have already been designated - pc, boxing, ps3. On the PC, everything will sparkle, the console will be slightly cut.
Yes, I was shocked by the graphics! detailing there are no words at all! and he moves as if alive, and his cloak really moves from the wind, in general, I will say that E3 was surprised by so many cool announcements, really drooling. Modified on June 5, 2012 by - = Ruslan = -
