Watch Dogs' storyline is built on the concept of information warfare - data has become interconnected, and the use of technology is increasing in the world. The game is set in an alternate version of the reality of the city of Chicago, Illinois, which is one of many cities using the ctOS supercomputer. The system controls almost every part of the city, and also contains information about all its residents and activities that can be used for various purposes. In the game's universe, a power grid accident in the US and Canada was triggered by hackers to spur the development of ctOS. The main character in the game - Aiden Pearce - is a highly skilled hacker, delineated as a person using "both fists and intellect." In the E3 gameplay demo, Aiden was shown using the disconnect ability,
Game process
The main gameplay elements of Watch Dogs include hacking and surveillance. The game's protagonist Aiden Pearce (voiced by Noam Jenkins) can use any device connected to the city's central operating system (ctOS) as a weapon against him. During the gameplay demo, Aiden, in order to get to a paid art exhibition, as a distraction, interferes with the signals of mobile phones, and also listens to telephone conversations for information about his target, and affects traffic lights, causing a car accident to intercept the target. The player can also access information from ctOS on the NPCs they encounter, including information about demographics, health, and likelihood of violence.
Development of the game began in 2010. Ubisoft Montreal creative director Jonathan Maureen noted that Watch Dogs aims to “go beyond today's open-world games,†allowing players to use its information as the basis of the plot, and control the entire city with its hacking mechanics.
The game was officially unveiled during Ubisoft's press conference at the 2012 E3 International Gaming Show. Previously, however, a trailer for the game was mistakenly posted on the Ubisoft YouTube channel, but was quickly removed before its official debut. Later Ubisoft confirmed the release of the game on the PC.
On February 15, 2013, GameStop employees sent Kotaku a promotional image of the game, along with a more detailed storyline. The flyer photo hinted that the game will be released in late 2013 on "all home consoles."
For the game, Ubisoft Montreal has created a new game engine called Disrupt. Ubisoft has prioritized the development of PC and eighth generation console versions of the game.

Demonstration of the game is certainly a mega-episode, but will everything be the same at the time of release? This is yubisoft, and such a graphon will only be in the pitch version - the consoles will not be pulled.

Yubiks said that no new IPs would be created until the next-gene was released, so, after all, there was a game under the next-gene?
[b] [member = Anton] [/ b], What next gene do they have that they already have new consoles in their hands, what will they do ?? what are you saying nonsense? to develop a game for a new generation, you need to have a new generation of consoles, the game will be released on all three platforms PC PS3 XBOX360.

Sorry brother, but it was you who just said stupidity, because the devkits of the next-gen consoles are already in the hands of the developers anyway. Or do you think they are handed out on the day the massive sales start? It takes 2 years to make a good game, so many have been making games for the next gene for a long time, preparing a starting line. And yubisoft made it clear that there will be no new IPs on the carrent gene. Changed June 5th,
Everyone says that graphics are not important. But looking at the gameplay of [color = # 323232] Watch Dogs, I realized how cool it is to play a cool game with a cool graphon. And if the cool intellect of the crowd is brought in, then in general the virtual world will be filled with life, and not with stupid bots, the city will come to life. A completely different feeling from the game will be. So I want the next gene, we can't even imagine how much more diverse the games will become. It is strange that many of the next gene do not want. The point is not only in the graphics, although in it too. [/ Color] Modified on June 5, 2012 by Anton
[b] [member = Anton] [/ b], who are all of them? Ponty are solid. The graphics have never interfered with the game anywhere. In other cases, it also adds atmosphere, naturalness and authenticity, which enhances immersion. Games with average and outdated graphics can be played just as well as games with cool graphics, if the game is all the more good, but seeing something like this on your TV screen is more enjoyable, whatever one may say. This is completely normal.
[b] [member = - = Ruslan = -] [/ b], do you think the developers' consoles appear at the same time as their announcement? Modified June 5, 2012 by Hooly_Varshick
[b] [member = Hooly_Varshick] [/ b], [b] [member = Anton] [/ b], I read saw that the game will be released on PC PS3 XBOX360 this is all I saw, they also talked about GTA 5 but however the game comes out on this generation, in short we will wait, of course I would like to play the game already in 2013, maybe it will be developed and released on this generation.
silly, the point was in this case to declare the platform?
if they had planned the next gene, they would have refrained from commenting,
but here it seems like the current generation said, no one pulled them by the tongue

Well, in the video there is such a schedule that the current gene is unlikely to pull, therefore the opinions are. As for the platforms, it was necessary to say something, but they have no right to talk about ps4 and xbox 720 now, right up to the official announcement.
[quote name = 'Anton' timestamp = '1338919227' post = '2696794'] Well, the video has such graphics that the carrent-gene is unlikely to pull, that's why the opinions are the same. game was shown on the PC. Yubi has already spoken about this.
