Optimization for AMD (Doom (2016))
We are writing here how DOOM works on AMD.It works awfully, I have not yet met such games where you need to dance with a tambourine and re-enter the game at 10 so that the fps is not 20 at any settings. UPD I was wrong, the problem is on all video cards with 2GB, proven on GTX 770

Yeah, it's clear, and what are your problems, it seems to me that in theory it shouldn't be all the more so with such a vidyuha (?)
r9 380 so if nothing is stable in the scene 60, you should go to batch 30. Optimization was not delivered.
agula98 is
30 fps no longer playable? and I'll tell you a secret, fps depends not only on vidyuhi
Victor Tsoi,
well, there are no problems, but I solved the problem with microfreezes by disabling vertical sync
Thompson1929
Well, play like that, I have 2 gigabytes of vidyuha, but I really don’t play it yet, only I’ll download it and do it offline, then I’ll try, I hope to play later, at least at low settings, if that’s all me in the profile.
GHOST24
The processor is normal. And to play a shooter at 30 fps, when even on a ps4 60. Not comme il faut.
GHOST24
For duma you need 60FPS and no less, it was developed by the developers themselves. Therefore, even on consoles, I had to do 60.
As you can see on r9 380 in batches of 30FPS, but even my 270x if you dance with a tambourine will give 50-60fps in batches. Here the obvious jamb is not with VRAM, but with video cards of the R9 series. We are waiting for a patch, new firewood or a volcano.
SanSanZ
Did you measure FPS in the batch at the plant? Where is the lava still all the business?
GHOST24 wrote: Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN X 12GB
Well, firstly, you are some kind of a dreamer. Your card cannot even have 40fps even on ultra-nightmarish graphics. Secondly, AMD owners are discussing cards here.
agula98
Yes. 50-60FPS (after dancing), I have already gone through after several chapters and saves have disappeared, writes a broken file ...
agula98 Estimate
maybe I'm shocked myself considering that there are two of them. Secondly, I answered the person that you cannot play at 30 fps and do not go into this topic with my problem
SanSanZ
It's strange, now I was looking at a dude with my card, but he had 4gb vram like FPS kept stable. All the same, I think it's about vram.
Victor Tsoi
well, I don’t know how things are with 2-gig vidyuhs, but judging by the tests, the Radeon R9 390X is inferior to the GTX 970, and much inferior, and the 390 is more powerful than the 970, I don’t know what the hell is going on, but hike on 2 gigs of video memory it will be terribly laggy, especially in batches, but you should forget about shadows at all)
agula98 Definitely
not in vram. The game takes a full 2500MB in the morning. At low 1500MB. And you can play for hours after dancing, so it's definitely not an option. GTX 760 2Gb pulls the game at medium - high 50-60fps. Well, the beta of course, 2 GB was enough for everyone, but suddenly not here? And according to tests, all amd cards merge 2 times nvidia, even the top with 6GB vram.
I have an average of 50-60 fps on the R9 290x, everything is at ultra 1080p without vert synchronization, if there are a lot of monsters and smoke, it can sink to 35 (it did not go down below). Firewood 16.5.2. beta. By the way, after their installation, terrible brakes and lags began, the FPS dropped to 15-30 at ultra. Without shadows, it grew to 30-50. Then I discovered that after installing new firewood, MSI Afterburner arbitrarily set the frequency of the processor and memory of the vidyuhi to a minimum. When I corrected everything went fine. Who has such a program, take a look, maybe you also.
