DOOM Classic [DI, DII, D64]
Topics for the classic parts are probably somewhere in the wilds of the forum, but I did not find it and decided to make one to discuss all the classics, which, moreover, is now republished on current platforms. Here you can also discuss all versions of DooM games from the very first up to the version for the N64.

Will there be a review on the site?
I think it will. And that there is an old castle, even if it will be I will turn into a retro reviewer so soon)
I did not understand that with the version of doom 3 - there is a graphon like a pc version of the original and not a fucking bfg edishen - no soap and no other left effects
the switch looks great and plays.
about 1 and 2 thoughts - I noticed that the game has become lighter, but otherwise all the rules.
no tremors, etc. are visible.

I also did not notice any twitching, but what is lighter, it seems to me that the original was like that, but the ports on the PS1 were darker. But we must see exactly how it was.

But at the same time, the flashlight is mounted in the shoulder like in bfg edition, but the graphon seems to be like in the original for pitch, yes. And with the drops in FPS and dynamic resolution, I yelled a little.

In the Switch version of the third Duma, there are definitely FPS drops (
What is Brutal Doom? Are you just graphics for all three classic games, or are there some major changes to the gameplay and pace?
I don't know where else to ask.
Vegetable almost everything has been changed)
New levels, new weapons, new effects from bullets hitting carcasses.
This is actually a new game based on the original doom.

Hey all,
We've just deployed a patch for the re-releases of DOOM and DOOM II across all platforms. This new hotfix adds an option to skip the Bethesda.netlogin requirement and removes the disconnect notification during gameplay.
As we mentioned previously, the login requirement was intended to be optional for Slayers Club members to reward members for playing classic DOOM titles - we'll have more on that in the near future.
We are also working on a more permanent fix to further reduce the visibility of the optional login altogether. We do not have an estimated release just yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we can.
Lastly, we are pushing live a small hotfix for DOOM 3 to resolve an issue when closing inventory. This should be live shortly.

Bethesda Removes Mandatory Login From Doom And Doom II On Modern Consoles
It took the publisher three weeks to make sign-in to a Bethesda.net account optional.
On July 26, Bethesda released the classic Doom trilogy on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch - the first two parts of the shooter are also out on Android and iOS. However, users found that playing on modern consoles required a Bethesda.net account.
At the same time, the first two parts of Doom did not initially have online components. As Bethesda later explained, the account requirement was introduced for members of the Slayers Club, Doom's official fan club.
As a result, on August 15 - three weeks after the release of the Doom trilogy on current consoles - the publisher released a patch that makes it optional to log into the Bethesda.net account and removes the reminder about it that appeared during the game.
What I missed was how ION FURY came out 2 days ago, judging by the ratings and reviews, it's good

Review of DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 3 for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. We return and remember the classic trilogy on modern systems
As promised, we wrote a lot of material with @ACE on three games at once. I went through all three games and enjoyed it a lot.

Unlike the BFG Edition with its ugly soapy effects, the fresh re-release looks a lot clearer.
new edition is the same bfg edition
Azzy in the sense of not, this is the same doom 3 that went to ps3 / 360, and there was bfg edition
there is almost no difference (except for the obvious differences in resolution and anti-aliasing), especially in the effects
dozensnake no, I don't understand why you are arguing with the obvious, but in the text everything is written as it was and how it became. I don't know what kind of video it is, but look at how the BFG Edition looked exactly on 360. There was no part of the interactive lighting effects, the game was lighter, etc. Here is the source of the original version on the PC.

the original version on pc firstly does not have a flashlight on the shoulder
secondly, some models were replaced in the bfg and here they are just the most

Well, it says yes, but I don't see the difference anywhere))

yes, the video is 360 lighter, but I don’t know if they were played with contrast, etc.
i passed dum3 on ps3 at one time it was as dark there as on pc
the point is that the basis here is still bfg edition, not vanilla

It appeared on the shoulder in add-ons long before BFGE.

The fact of the matter is that no. There are characters with a seam in the middle of the face as it was in the original.

We are deliberately deceiving you, and you are well done, did not succumb to the provocation!

in the additions, but not in the original, if I am not mistaken, its current with bfg was added there

I threw off the picchu on purpose, how the twill looks in all versions, it is different only in vanilla
1 minute ago, Azzy said:We are deliberately deceiving you, and you are well done, did not succumb to the provocation!
yes, what does the deception have to do with it, I normally ask you why all of a sudden there is no bfg, if almost everything indicates that there is bfg, and you can't answer me normally

moronism is that you "throw off the picchu", and I played it.
4 minutes ago, dozensnake said:yes, what does the deception have to do with it
Yes, besides, that you are arguing on the basis of something incomprehensible, and I replayed the game.
6 minutes ago, dozensnake said:if almost everything indicates that there is bfg, and you can't answer me normally
What does it mean you cannot answer normally, if you climb with incomprehensible edits, while you do not understand simple words. There are no models from BFG, what is not normal in these words? How else to explain to you so that you understand? You haven't seen the game and tell me what's there and how based on the video. You point me to the screenshot taken in the video, and I tell you again, I completed the game, there are models with a seam in the middle.
Let's end this conversation. You can count whatever you like, watch videos, etc.
