The Astronauts studio has published the first details about the Witchfire shooter. Players are assigned the role of the "punishing hand of the church", and the game takes place in a world inhabited by witches.
The authors point out that Witchfire is not a story-driven game. There is information about the world here, but there are no lengthy staged videos, since such a small team is simply unable to implement this element at a decent level. So the story of the Bulletstorm level is not worth waiting for.
Developers focus on challenges and the skill required to overcome them. You will have "many roads to victory" at your disposal, but you will have to work hard to deal with the witches.
The Astronauts now employs eight people on Witchfire, with outsourcers helping the authors. The studio intends to hire another programmer. Perhaps new hires will be needed when the basic elements of the game are finished.
The authors confirmed that every Wednesday they will publish details about the game and its development process.
Witchfire will not appear until 2020.

Again, the design of the weapon is disgusting, but the Painkiller in the style of "Ethan Carter" as a whole is certainly super. Well, if Witchfire is diverse enough, the level of this same Painkiller.
