Funeral Doom
People, tell me pliz which bands you can listen to from this style of performance. Preferably with download links.Thank you in advance.
Skepticism disappointed me in two important ways at once, if nothing more: music and vocals. I did not find anything sad, sad, tragic and even more romantic in this group and music. The music is very depressing, "dusty", depressing, very slowed down, as if it were stretching all this depression ... the organ in the Organium's song pleased me, but I did not notice anything memorable in this music, the atmosphere also causes very doubtful feelings. The vocals along the way should symbolize the revived deceased in the coffin, which he partially does, only it does not cause any gloom or fear, it is too feigned, not frank, not memorable, the vocals sound here only to maintain an oppressive atmosphere, and the lyrics do not smell of depth. Apparently I'm too used to keyboards in music ...
Hmm ... now I realized that it's stupid to "steam" the bands that you listen to ... from now on it's like a fish ...> _ <let them search for themselves ...
By the way ... Somehow the wind brought that Lake of tears and Sirenia belong to doom ... but I did not find any depressiveness or decadence in them ... is the problem in my perception or misidentification of direction? ... and what is "classic" doom?)
I like Headstones ... but what about the "classic" doom?
PS: daiki nifiga is not a gothic, this is a pearl of darkwave and in general the whole schwarzes scene .... though the albums are damp and monotonous before the angels ...
darkwave is electronic gothic in musical terms. There is just darkwave from Industrial, and there is from Electro Gothic.
duckwave is darkwave ... if you take your classification, night, black is brutal gothic, and dark punk is sub-gothic ... by the
way, but lightwave is what then?
dark punk is proto gothic rock. =)
I have never heard a lightwave ...
Child, tell me then what relates to electronic gothic? ;)
Classic doom:
Mercy, Black Sabbath (some albums), Memory Garden.
Gothic Doom:
Lake of Tears, Paradise Lost, Theater of Tradgedy.
I know that before Gothic it was))))))
lightwave is Dvar ... and electronic gothic is cybergothic ... I don’t remember the representatives (because I don’t like this), but I can search - or you’ll look for it yourself. Cybergot don't like darkwave.
yeah, sanks ... well, Lake of Tears doesn’t pressure me ... this is the prerogative of darkwave ... unless there is something like that on Forever Autumn
Lake of Tears should not press and should not ... depressive doom manifests itself in the music, and not in the impact on a person, and in this case, we generally have gothic / doom. Here is funeral doom, depressing and depressing, yes.
I heard about cybergotics, but did not listen. But I can assume that this is another kind of Electro Gothic, just like darkwave. =)) Download and see. Dvar is similar.
[edit]
Also, if Dvar is not about electronic gothic, then why did they volunteer to participate in the Russian Gothic Project? ;)
[edit # 2]
And what is Dvar doing here dark.gothic.ru/dvar/ if he is not electro gothic ???
And tell me the heavy funeral. Shape didn't impress me too much ... I want more growl, heavier riffs.
2Zloy_Volshebnik The heaviest doom IMHO - Khanate, so listen to him, and from the funeral I recommend Skepticism (especially the album for 1991 ifolder.ru/265610)
By the way, in Khanate the vocalist came up with a new style of singing - in some moments he hisses.
Something too many doom divorced. Industrial doom, stoner doom and ambient doom :))
I'll try to explain everything later, I need to listen to Earth and Melvins.
as for me, so ideal in this genre - Shape of Despair
I listened to a lot of phoneral, but this group is simply beyond competition
